Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is all about results. Is the result “ natural”? Is the improvement in appearance significant? Are the incisions visible? Do the operated portions of the face blend in with the un-operated features?

Nothing tells the story of a nose surgeon’s talent better than the rhinoplasty “Before and After” photo gallery. And, don’t forget to study the triptychs: three adjacent photos showing the “Before”, the computer imaged “After” and the actual “After”. Very few practices feature such a collection on their website.

As a nose superspecialist, Dr Kotler performs all of the types of rhinoplasty, including primary rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, ethnic rhinoplasty (African, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, Asian, etc.), non surgical rhinoplasty, and fillers after rhinoplasty. Dr. Kotler is among the only nose surgeons in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles that practices a permanent non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as the 5 minute nose job. So, how long does a surgical rhinoplasty take with Dr. Kotler? The surgical rhinoplasty procedure typically takes 2.5 hours and is performed under anesthesia in a federally-certified, state-licensed or independently accredited outpatient surgery center. For maximal safety, a MD-anesthesiologist or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetic (RN) conducts the anesthesia. The surgery can be performed from entirely within the nose, the so-called “closed rhinoplasty” or via external access, the “open rhinoplasty”. Each surgeon will have developed his/her own particular technique. Dr. Kotler prefers the invisible incision, closed technique for a natural, scarless result.

Dr. Kotler prepares every patient on what they can expect during rhinoplasty recovery. Average nose job recoveries are within 10 days, with limits on physical activity for typically only up to six weeks. For specific questions on healing and to view a recovery timeline with pictures, see our comprehensive rhinoplasty recovery guide for patients where Dr. Kotler walks you step-by-step through your rhinoplasty recovery.
