Dr. Kotler,

I just wanted to give you an update on the wonderful surgery you performed on my son Oliver. His nose looks so natural you would never doubt that he wasn't born with it.

Thank you so much for your incredible skill and kindness. You transformed my boy.

My very best wishes,

-L.C.
My decision to have plastic surgery was not an easy one, but the choice of Dr. Kotler as my surgeon was.

I can't remember a time when I liked my nose or willingly posed for a photo. In recent years, my displeasure with this feature constantly crossed my mind while dating or attending social events. I always wondered if people noticed how big my nose was, the size of the bump at the top, or whether the tip descended too far down my face and basically obscured my upper lip.

Despite the clear impact my nose was having on my self-esteem, it took me years to become comfortable with the thought of actually taking action. I cancelled a consult with another surgeon approximately three years ago because of a work conflict, and never mustered up the courage to reschedule.

When I thought of rescheduling, my mind drifted to obvious excuses: the surgery was going to be too difficult in light of my minimal pain tolerance, I would not find a surgeon I trusted enough, the outcome was not assured, etc.

What really held me back was my discomfort admitting that I disliked a part of my body to the degree that the only option was to fix it. I thought that I needed to simply accept my nose and finally learn to love it. As a society we tell people to take ownership of their self-labeled "flaws" and proudly flaunt their uniqueness. I felt that I being shallow, and electing not to have surgery was a sign of maturity.

I finally realized that all the time I spent worrying about my nose was a waste of time and energy. I wanted to be confident when I met new people and willingly pose for photos. Once I overcame the shame of admitting that I was never going to accept my nose, the journey became much easier.

I combed the Internet and asked for recommendations to find potential surgeons. As a Los Angeles resident, I knew I would have many surgeons to choose from. I was adamant that I felt comfortable and trusted the surgeon. I did not want the doctor to be conceited or insensitive, and Dr. Kotler is the last person you would describe as either.

I was afraid I was going to cry when a member of Dr. Kotler's staff asked me what I wanted to change so she could generate a proposed "after" picture. I held it together though, and was amazed how much different it looked when I saw the computer-enhanced image.

The meeting with Dr. Kotler was very reassuring. He immediately told me I was justified in what I wanted to change, and that my requests were reasonable. Dr. Kotler clearly cares about patient education (he's written two books on the subject), and appeared elated to answer the questions my mom and I lobbed at him.

She's a nurse and I had conducted significant research, so our questions were probing: which hospital he is affiliated with, what the infection rate of his patients is post-surgery, and the percentage of patients that want revision rhinoplasty. We left confident that Dr. Kotler was the right surgeon, and I cancelled my second consultation with another well-known doctor.

Dr. Kotler's academic credentials and quality of work were obvious, and after the appointment so was his empathy and compassion. I had a conference call with Dr. Kotler the week of surgery to review what I disliked about my nose, and he clearly understood my emerging fear.

The night before surgery felt strange, knowing that it was the last time I would fall asleep hating my nose. The anesthesiologist reassured me during our call that I would be fine, and we would have ample time to discuss any concerns in the morning. His demeanor reminded me of Dr. Kotler's.

I was excited on the drive to the surgery center, knowing that my decision felt right. I no longer had any reservations. When I saw Dr. Kotler before I was walked to the operating room, I knew I was in good hands. I was worried that the insertion of the anesthesia IV would be painful, but the doctor was very skilled and kind.

I don't remember anything beyond laying on the operating table and seeing the "before" and projected "after" picture of me taped to the wall. I was able to dress myself and walk out the door of the surgery center (with my parents) without any assistance.

I did not have much pain the first day, as the anesthetic had not yet worn off. The most uncomfortable part of the procedure was the packing and breathing tubes (Dr. Kotler invented them!) placed in my nose. They both were removed the next day in his office, so the inconvenience was hardly prolonged. The second and third days I felt some pain, which was readily controlled with the prescribed codeine. I was tired for five or six days and slept a lot, which should not have surprised me but did.

My post-surgery needs illustrate the importance of choosing a doctor that genuinely cares for patients and maintains a staff that feels the same way. I required suctioning three times in the first three weeks to improve my breathing, and the staff always gave me the most immediate appointment. A doctor's attitude makes a world of difference as you recover from surgery, as the healing process varies from person to person. I required some aftercare, but was never afraid to call and ask Dr. Kotler's staff for help.

I'm now more than a month past surgery. You would never know by looking at me that anything was done to my face, as there are no external scars or stitches. My nose is still tender, but not to the point where I require any medication. While my nose has only begun to decrease its swelling, the difference is obvious.

Friends have told me my new nose matches my face and is so natural, that my face looks smaller, and that my profile is much softer, among many other things. It's difficult to understand that the swelling takes up to a year to fully diminish, but I can already see how much progress I've made over the last few weeks.

I can't adequately describe how much better I feel knowing that my nose no longer haunts me. I happily posed for a picture with friends last weekend without any hesitation. It's such a relief to look in the mirror and be happy, especially so early in the recovery process. I'm already more confident, and I know that I'll like my nose even more once I see it fully healed.

Surgery is a commitment of your resources (financial, time, etc.) and a decision to completely put your well-being in someone else's hands. The uncertainty and lack of control is scary, but the decision to proceed with surgery was natural once I met Dr. Kotler. My only regret is that I waited so long to admit that my dislike of my nose was never going to disappear unless I fixed it.

Rhinoplasty has been a procedure for a long time coming! First of all, I had serious breathing obstructions which then affected my sleep, and exercise. Second, my nose wasn't obnoxiously huge, but it was a bit bulbous and wide for my face. In addition, my nose profile was just too large. I always knew that I did want a nose job at some point in my life, but when I finally buckled down and decided to do my research, it was about a yearlong process. That seems like an insanely large time span, but doing your homework, and feeling confident about you surgeon is essential. I researched several top surgeons in California, and finally narrowed my list to the top ten, then my top five, and finally my top two. I narrowed my top surgeons down by several different factors; Internet reviews, personal recommendations, price, medical back round, experience, medical facilities, bedside matter, and the surgeon himself. I was referred to Dr. Kotler from a family friend, who also had rhinoplasty from Dr. Kotler, and had a great experience. After reading Dr. Kotler's book, Secrets of a Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgeon, I learned so much information about the procedure itself, and the process of recovering. It informed me about the in's and out's of plastic surgery and how to pick the best surgeon for me and my wishes. After meeting Dr. Kotler, I immediately knew he was the doctor for me. He was completely confident in performing what was best for me, extremely kind, and seemed to love his profession for the right reasons, to help those feel better about themselves by sharing his talents as a gifted surgeon. Honestly, I was a bit nervous before surgery, I was scared of the way I was going to feel afterwards, and the whole recovery process itself. But, the nurses and anesthesiologist made me feel comfortable and taken care, and helped keep me at ease. All in all, Dr. Kotler has the most amazing bedside manner I could ever ask for, he made me feel taken care of and in good hands. I never was in pain, and although my nose was completely packed, I could breath through Dr. Kotler's custom tube system. Now, three months post operation, I can breath 100 percent better, and my nose looks so natural, no one has even noticed I have had plastic surgery. My nose looks like the nose I could have been born with, thanks to Dr. Kotler. This surgery has most definitely impacted my life in such a positive way. I have found a new confidence within myself, knowing when I look good, I feel good! In addition to this, I am able to breath without discomfort. So, thank you Dr. Kotler for being such an excellent plastic surgeon. I am so grateful to have had Dr. Kotler as my doctor, and I cannot thank him enough for my outstanding results!

Thank you,

-N
For 2 months I researched the most respected surgeons from all over the world and after all my research I chose Dr. Kotler and I am very thankful that I did.

Two years ago I underwent surgery to correct my deviated septum. I decided to use one of the best surgeons in TX since it was close to home. Unfortunately the procedure was a complete failure and my situation got worse and this result was from a surgeon who is very well-respected, has been honored with numerous awards, is an author and frequent speaker at industry conferences, etc. When I decided to try again to fix my nose (and correct the damage caused by my first surgery) I spent 2 months researching surgeons from all over the world. I was prepared to do whatever it takes and go anywhere in the world in order to get the job done because I wanted to ensure that I did not repeat my past failure. After all my research, I chose Dr. Kotler.

Although I was nervous and skeptical given my prior experience, Dr. Kotler was completely confident that my nose could be fixed. I was amazed by his diagnosis and recommendation because my first surgeon was completely unaware of the techniques that Dr. Kotler explained to me. I realized that if great/well-respected surgeons out there are not even aware of the best techniques/procedures (let alone able to perform them) there is a profound difference between the very best and everyone else.

It's also important to know that Dr. Kotler is an amazing all-around person. He makes you feel completely comfortable right from the start and his staff is fantastic. Everything from scheduling to preparation is really easy. The best way I can describe Dr Kotler as a person is to say that he treats you like family. It's amazing, but I really truly honestly seriously believe that he is as concerned for each of his patients as he is for members of his own family.

With regard to results, I'm not sure what else to say except that I am truly thankful for what Dr. Kotler has done for me. The results are amazing and the procedure caused no discomfort. I am blown away and completely amazed at what he has done for me. Working with Dr. Kotler has been great in every way. I have learned a valuable lesson with this experience. I will never again settle for a good or even a great surgeon because it is just too risky. I will always go right to the very best without hesitation and that is why I cannot recommend Dr Kotler strongly enough.

Dr. Kotler did an extended neck lift and upper eye-lid lift on me 3 years ago. I was 48 at the time. The results have been nothing other than amazing. The doctor was extremely patient as I went through my decision-making process to undergo plastic for the first time. Dr. Kotler is a very kind and special man and his staff reflects his energy. He is a true talent and the kind of doctor that is rare these days, especially in Beverly Hills. He's very old school. He instilled confidence and I was not overly anxious prior to surgery and I am a worrier. I knew I was in good hands, was prepared emotionally and I was excited to see if Kotler's photo imaging would actually be the end result. I have to say, the two procedures have made a HUGE difference for me. Even better then the imaging! I love my eyes and can wear eye shadow again. My profile is lovely and I look and feel fantastic! Dr. Kotler is the best.

- J.M.
Dr. Kotler is not only an amazing surgeon but also an amazing person. I received a chin augmentation and neck sculpture from Dr. Kotler last December and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. The procedure went exactly as Dr. Kotler described and the result is exactly like he said it would be. This was a perfect surgery and I wish I would have done the procedure years ago. The staff was wonderful and they made the whole process easy and stress-free (I especially appreciate this because I traveled a very long distance for the surgery). Frankly, I was blown away by the level of support and attention. The entire experience was first-class and all of my expectations were exceeded. I can now see why Dr. Kotler is so popular, he really is that good.

- J.G.
Towards the end of summer I had a rhinoplastic surgery done. I had hated my nose ever since I could remember and had been planning on getting it done since I was 10 years old, I am so thankful I have a perfect nose now and I couldn't imagine my life with my old nose. As for the actual procedure, I was really nervous before surgery but I knew that I was in good hands, however it's natural and normal to be nervous. I also talked to many family members and friends that had had similar procedures, which also helped to soothe my nerves. This was my first time having cosmetic surgery. I was very scared going into surgery, however I realized after surgery that it wasn't as bad as I expected. Obviously, I didn't feel anything during surgery, and when I got home I was really tired, and was in a lot of pain. The kit that the Dr. Kotler gave me really helped me get through the whole experience. To be honest the pain for me for the first day was pretty extreme, but as the days went on the only pain I began to feel was that of the anxiety to take the cast off. The support that I got from Dr. Robert Kotler and his team was incredible they were there 24/7 ready to answer questions whether via email or phone. The night before the anesthesiologist called me to confirm, and I asked him all the questions I had. He made me feel very comfortable, and talking to him eased my anxiety. Everyone at Dr. Kotler's office was so nice and welcoming. Mary really made me relaxed and answered so many of my questions, and everyone at the front desk was positive. Every night Dr. Kotler would call me and ask me how I was doing, I felt that really helped my recovery process. At times, such as the late night, I felt a little more pain than usual but for the most part, the pain medicine helped, and also the decongestion spray helped, and the tubes were great. The best advice I received was to take steam showers when I was really clogged. Anyone having rhinoplastic surgery done with Robert Kotler should feel comfortable, and safe. He is a fantastic doctor, and really cares about his patients. Make sure to have soft foods because it hurts to eat crunchy food, and have tons of the fruit that they recommend for swelling, also walk around a lot beginning a few days after surgery. I got my nose done a little over 3 months ago and almost all the noticeable swelling has diminished. I am so much more confident about my profile and don't have to worry about deleting those horrible side photos of myself on Facebook! I have received so many compliments.

Thank you Dr. Kotler,

- A.L.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

It has been a month now since I had my surgery and I wanted to write to you to thank you and let you know how much I appreciate everything you have done for me. As we discussed, because of my facial deformity and previous jaw surgery my case was much more complicated than the average patient. Prior to meeting with you I did plenty of research and met with numerous plastic surgeons. All of the surgeons I met with were ready to operate without considering the possible technical difficulties resulting from the plates left in my jaw. From the moment I walked in to your office I knew the search for the right surgeon was over. You took the time to consult with my oral surgeon to come up with the best way to proceed. As my surgery date approached I had numerous questions and concerns. Your friendly staff was very helpful and I was able to meet with you as often as I wanted. The week following my surgery you called me everyday and met with me over the weekend to make sure I was doing well.

I am satisfied with the decision we made and could not be happier with the results. More importantly than the cosmetic reason, the functional improvement was amazing. Because of my severe allergies, prior to my surgery I was taking antihistamines everyday with no relief. As a result of my nasal surgery I no longer have difficulty breathing and the daily allergies I suffered from are gone. As an Internist I will be sure to recommend this procedure for my patients suffering from the same problem I had.

Dr. Kotler, I want to thank you again for your outstanding work, care and patience. You truly are a gifted surgeon.

-R.R.

Dr. Kotler,

You bet your work is holding up for me. While I was home recently eight of us "girls" got together for lunch they couldn't get over the fact that my face isn't wrinkled. I hear this all the time, "You don't have any wrinkles."

Of course I am not as pristine as when I left your office, but since 1995, two major surgeries, and incredible years of stress, this face still looks GOOD!

One of these days I will bring my face down to your office.

You are a miracle worker, Dr. Kotler!

I laughed when a man twelve years younger kept calling even though I asked him not to. Finally I was pretty blunt. Four or five years passed and about a year ago he phoned me again. He said "I was cleaning out some drawers and ran across your name, etc., etc." I was cool and the conversation ended. I laughed and laughed after I hung up. He would have kick himself if he knew that he was pursuing a woman who is 81 years old. (Obviously I never did tell him my age.)

Thought you would enjoy this laugh.

If I wanted a man, you can bet I would be waltzing around on the arm of one and not a doddery one. I could give you some more stories along that line to prove it.

It is all your fault, Dr. Kotler.

-J.S.
"I have had so many unexpected flattering comments recently on my eyelids.....And I never fail to appreciate your artistry... More thanks"

-E.P.
I came to Dr. Kotler in December 2010 for a consultation for rhinoplasty. Since I was in high school, I've been self conscious about the bump I had on my nose, and I felt that fixing this problem would be a wonderful 40th birthday present to myself. I had been researching Dr. Kotler's work for years, and my experience with him exceeded every expectation I had of his work, professionalism, and courtesy towards his patients.

Although I wasn't extremely nervous before the surgery, my 13 year old daughter, my mother, my father, and my boyfriend were ridden with anxiety. Dr. Kotler was wonderful with my family. He was able to calm my sobbing 13th year old, answer the thousands of questions my family had, and comfort me before surgery.

The entire surgical experience was positive. The surgical staff was attentive, kind, and thorough. My anesthesiologist went over every aspect of the surgery and what I might feel afterward. I'm quite sensitive and a little more prone to feeling pain than others, but the anesthesiologist took care of any pain I had immediately after surgery. I also tend to get very cold in hospitals, so as soon as I mentioned that I was cold alter surgery, the nurses put a tube that administered warm air under my blankets... it may seem small, but it was the attention to detail and their concern with my needs that really contributed to the overall positive experience I had before, during and after surgery.

Dr. Kotler's staff are wonderful people. Before the surgery, I can't count the number of times I called the office about the surgery, pre-op work, payment, or what was to be expected during and alter the surgery. Dr. Kotler's staff always welcomed my questions and called back immediately if they were unable to take my call. They walked me through home care instructions, made sure I was comfortable, and were always kind and attentive when I walked through the office door.

Dr. Kotler was the best part of my experience. He is incredibly talented, but with his talent comes compassion, professionalism, and innovation. His invention of the breathing tubes enabled me to breathe through my nose immediately after surgery and not feel claustrophobic. My mother did not know about Dr. Kotler's invention and was concerned that I would experience extreme pain and discomfort a friend of hers and gone through after rhinoplasty. To my mother's surprise, I had little discomfort or pain after the surgery. Dr. Kotler has thought of every aspect of life after surgery. The tubes assist his patients with proper breathing, he prescribes medication for the bruising, and although it pain is not extreme, he makes sure that his patients experience little to not pain after the surgery.

I am very thankful for Dr. Kotler and his staff The experience was amazing and I highly recommend it to others. Dr. Kotler is a pro at taking your natural beauty and enhancing it in the best way possible.

Thank you so much!

J.P.

Hello,
It's been so long since I last spoke to you. I hope all is well with you! A lot has changed in my life. I never went back for a follow up because I got laid off of work and so I didn't want to spend any more money that I didn't have. I've since found a great job and moved to New York City. Anyways, as I said before I'm super happy with the results of my surgery. Dr. Kotler is amazing. The tip of my nose is still hard but at least now it doesn't look bad. I'm writing now because I was wondering if Dr. Kotler could help suggest the names of any doctor's I could see out in New York about doing something for my under eye dark circles. I feel like no matter how much sleep I get I always look exhausted and like my eyes are sinking in. I know that it is possible to get injections with fillers put in but I don't know too much details about it. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. And next time I fly out to the west coast to visit my family I will try to make a pit stop in Beverly Hills to see you guys again.

Take care,
M.O.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Testimonials

I would be more than happy to respond but I haven't done a major surgery. Dr. Kotler did save my nose. My cartilage was collapsing after a botched deviated septum surgery that I had done in another city for sinus reasons. The surgeon not only did a procedure on my septum and removed my turbinates but also removed some of my cartilage with it. The bridge of my nose began to collapse.

I met Dr. Kotler at a Womens Conference in Orange county and he told me to make an appointment with his office because he felt he could help me. I called his office right away. Dr. Kotler, over a period of several months rebuilt the bridge of my nose with a permeant filler. That was over 12 years ago and my nose still looks great. He saved my nose and for that I am forever grateful. His skill, kindness, and genuine caring was a much welcomed bonus.

Nasal Testimonials

Thank you Dr. Kotler for providing me with a new life. You have erased all my feelings of self-consciousness, replacing them with self-confidence. Never before have I felt so comfortable in my skin. Now, looking back 25 years old and 6 weeks later after my surgery, I wonder why I had waited so long.

From my teenage years until now, I have struggled with feelings of anxiety regarding my nose. I realize it never was terrible, but I was very self-aware. Whenever I thought about rhinoplasty and discussed it with my friends, everyone would just say, "Oh, its justin your head, I think its fine." Nobody would understand. Nobody would understand the self-awareness I felt over simple things, such as putting my hair up in a ponytail, wearing a hat, or even crossing the street. Anything that I felt would draw attention to my nose and especially my side profile, I would fixate about and be extremely self-aware. I finally stopped listening to my friends and took control.

After meeting with Doctor Kotler, I instantly knew that he would be performing my surgery. Of all my consultations, Doctor Kotler was there to make sure I felt comfortable with the entire process. He cared about my well being, answered all my questions, and was there 100% of the way, from the moment I stepped into his office for the consultation, until today, 6 weeks later after my surgery. After my surgery, he called me everyday for 5 five days to check up my recovery. Surgery is scary, but Doctor Kotler was there every step of the way to make me feel more at ease.

I can't thank you enough Doctor Kotler for my new nose and my new life!
J.S.
Dear Dr. Kotler, I don't even know where to begin my praising. For as long as I've known you, you have been the most down to earth and humble person, which is very rare in your profession. Everyone is either in this business for the money or the fame, but you're in it for the people. You always put the patient first and that is why you are so good at what you do. Never has a doctor given me their home AND cell phone number or been so easy to reach. I am the most nervous and neurotic person out there and from the very beginning of this process you have made me feel so comfortable and at ease. You take the time to explain every detail and never did I feel rushed or pressured into anything. You let me ask my million questions and responded to all of my concerns. You went above and beyond in every aspect of this process and even if I filled this whole page with thank you's, it wouldn't be enough.

I originally came in to correct my deviated septum and the large appearance of my nose. The bare minimum of just correcting the size and breathing just wouldn't cut it for you. To get me the best result and make me the happy patient that I am today, you suggested since I am already going through with this I should fix the small hump I have at the bridge, as well as the drooping when I smile that I never even noticed. This made all the difference in my unbelievable results. You wanted the best outcome for me and I cou1dn't appreciate the suggestions more.

The best part about the surgery was the nasal tubes you put in my nose afterwards as opposed to just packing. I had spoken to friends before I went through with this and they had said the most dreaded part of the whole procedure was the claustrophobic packing you had to have in place for five days! It was such a relief to be able to breathe from the minute I woke up from surgery. You are a master at your work and the title super specialist is just the tip of the iceberg.

Before my surgery I couldn't even take a deep breath with my mouth open and now I can even do it with my mouth closed. I never realized how restricted my air flow actually was. I no longer snore and can exercise for twice as long without becoming out of breathe.

Without making me look overdone or like anyone but myself you managed to drastically improve the appearance of my face and bring out my other facial features. This surgery was not only a huge confidence boost for me but it was also a wake up call. I realized that I needed to improve myself in other ways as well. Since my surgery I have lost sixty pounds, changed the color of my hair and have started to truly take care of myself I feel like a completely different person and I love the new me. I want you to know that you are the sole reason for me making these incredibly difficult changes to my life.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only improving my appearance, but for also improving my way of life.

With the utmost respect,
T.D.
I think your "Kotler Nasal Airway" is pretty cool. I had the first rhinoplasty without it and then you used it with the revision I had done. It's just a nice feeling to be able to breath so clearly.

Soooo... maybe I can get one for the next time I get a head cold and have trouble sleeping??

Thanks again.

I found Dr. Kotler after extensive online research and I am so glad I did! I had spent days researching all kinds of Beverly Hills Doctors. My objective was to find the very best in their field. Since I was looking to have a rhinoplasty I wanted to go to the best of the best, this is your face we're talking about!

I decided to call Dr. Kotler after visiting his website several times, reading his reviews and watching the videos available. Having this information available was a huge relief, I felt like I was getting to know Dr. Kotler before I had even made an appointment and the information was extremely helpful, especially since I am an anxious person by nature.

From the moment I called the office I was immediately put at ease. I did not feel rushed or pressure to book a consultation (I had called other offices and did not receive this attention with other doctors I felt rushed and pressure to book the appointment). Doctor Kotler's staff was able to answer any questions I had about the consultation and what I should expect.

And the treatment only gets better. After meeting Doctor Kotler he asked if I had any additional questions or wanted to go over the surgery. I felt completely comfortable speaking with him and knew he was listening to my questions, I did not feel silly for asking anything even the simplest question was answered with care.

I decided to undergo surgery both for breathing and cosmetic purposes. The day of surgery arrived before I knew it and again was completely taken care of. My mother had flown in for the surgery and to help me with recovery and was ecstatic with the choice of doctor. Dr. Kotler treated my mother with extreme care (as I am sure he does for everyone) and took the time to explain the procedure and what she could expect after which made her feel at ease. Meeting Dr. Kotler has changed my life! Not only can I now breathe but I feel amazing and beautiful.

The cosmetic changes are very natural, people only know I had surgery if I tell them. The biggest complement I can give Dr. Kotler comes from my acting teacher who said she has never seen such an amazing job. The surgery has changed your face so naturally and looks amazing!

To anyone thinking of calling Dr. Kotler- DO IT!

Thank You Doctor Kotler!
A.B.

Dear Dr. Kotler and personnel,

I want to thank you, Dr. Kotler, for making me feel and look much better, and feel more confident and happier after having cosmetic surgery on my nose done.

I'm so grateful that my experience was a positive one. I waited many years and wondered if it would be a good decision to have this cosmetic surgery done on me. I was very scared and worried I might look like someone else after the surgery, look worse than I was, or was it going to be very painful during and after the surgery. One of my main worries was if I was going to be able to breath after the surgery.

It's been one year and I'm so grateful to you Dr. Kotler, as well as to all of your personnel, for the treatment I received during and after my surgery. My surgery was completely painless and short. I came back home with no pain at all and was breathing with no problem. The special tubes inside my nose made it easy for me to breath and much easier to clean my nose. The tubes were not uncomfortable at all. After a week of my surgery, I was already looking and feeling much better. I had a great experience and this is because of you, Dr. Kotler; for having all your experience, knowledge, being professional and at the same time being sensitive and kind.

I wish to give my most sincere and heartfelt thanks to you Dr. Kotler and everyone who assisted me with the most professionalism and kindness during my process.

Sincerely,

C

Growing up I was always made fun of for my nose and was called "Miss Piggy" as long as I can remember. I asked for a nose job instead of a car for my 16th birthday. My family did not have the money to give me either so I had to wait until I could earn enough money to buy both a car and a nose job! I definitely embraced my nose and made the best out of it and tried not to let it bother me or bring me down but in the back of my mind and deep in my heart I had always wanted to change it.

As I grew older I worried a little if people would think I was superficial or shallow for still wanting to change my appearance (after all I was not an insecure teenager anymore). I worried that if I had the surgery it might not turn out right and I might look worse than I was. I worried that I might not look like myself at all!

I began shopping around for surgeons and figured if I was finally going to get the surgery I wanted to go to the best surgeon around. I wanted to see a specialist and did not want to take any chances or bargain shop this is my face after all and paying extra for a quality job was worth it to me. I went for 2 other consultations near my home and was disappointed to say the least after my visits. The predicted photos of what I would look like after barely looked any different than how I looked before and I was quoted a very high price! I found Dr. Kotler online and was immediately impressed with his web page and all the before and after pictures of patients. Every picture I saw, the final outcome of the patients looked better than the predicted outcome! I liked that Dr, Kotler was an ex military doctor, that he specialized only in faces and his rate was less than the quotes that I had received before.

I did a phone consultation with Dr. Kotler and based on our conversation I committed to the surgery. I was still nervous, naturally, the day before the surgery as I had never has any surgery before but after meeting Dr. Kotler in person I was completely at ease. He was very kind and answered all of my questions. He assured me that I was making the right decision and that I was a good candidate for the rhinoplasty procedure. His staff was very helpful and explained every step of the process in detail.

I was further impressed when I was called the night before the surgery by the anesthesiologist and with the whole staff at the surgery center. Everyone had a very pleasant and relaxed vibe which I think is very important for patients (especially first timers). Dr. Kotler himself called me the same night after my surgery (not a nurse or an assistant) to see how I was doing! Everyone (myself most of all) is very impressed with the results. I still look like me, only much better. My only regret is that I waited so long to do it but had I not waited I might not have found Dr. Kotler. I wouldn't have trusted my face to anyone else.

Thank you Dr. Kotler and staff for making my dream come true

Much love and thanks,
Ex Miss Piggy!

Dear Dr. Kotler and Staff:

Recently, I had an occasion to visit your office again, along with a friend who was having a small procedure done. I was amazed to see how well Dr. Kotler looked. He is ageless.

I have been a patient, and for a short time, an employee. I had the privilege of working at his office speaking with prospective patients. He looks for good candidates who will really benefit from his special genius. (In fact, I have often thought how wonderful it must be to have the ability, talent, and skill to change a person's appearance in such a positive way.)

While there I witnessed the most spectacular changes in appearance and attitude that a person can experience. To say that his patients were extremely pleased with his artistry and their very natural appearance after surgery would be an understatement.

In many cases their whole personality seemed to change, as they felt better and more confident about their appearance. This was also my own experience. I was extremely pleased with my results and would do it again in a heartbeat. I would recommend Dr. Kotler to anyone who is even thinking about any facial surgery.

If I had to choose the most beneficial procedure of these I would say the chemical peel. As we age, our skin takes a beating every day from the sun, weather, and lifestyle. The lines that occur around the eyes and mouth, plus the natural pull of gravity, makes all of us look older than we feel. At the time of my chemical peel, I felt I had all of these conditions.

Dr. Kotler thought I'd be a good candidate for "The Peel". I was 56 years old, and while I felt a little anxious, I had seen the results of so many of his patients. I was ready.

I felt no pain or any discomfort during the surgery, thanks to Dr. Kotler and his very qualified staff. I had very little discomfort during the recovery. The usual swelling and redness was minor and the benefits outstanding. I was extremely pleased with the final results. At that time, Dr. Kotler told me you’ll always look 10 years younger than your actual age. This statement has certainly been true. People are always remarking how much younger I look than my actual age, which will be 80 in a few months.

All this I owe to the talent, technique, and artistry of Dr. Kotler and his very qualified staff.

This procedure truly changed my life and I recommend that anyone who wants to look and feel better not settle for anything less than the very best. That would be Dr. Kotler.

A former patient and admirer of your work,
Sincerely,
J.R.

Dear Dr. Kotler and Staff,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for an amazing surgical experience. From start to finish my experience was 5 star. Words cannot properly express how happy I am with my revision rhinoplasty. Dr. Kotler is not only a skilled surgeon but also a warm and kind man. From the moment I stepped foot into your office I felt comfortable and catered to. I was very nervous about having my revision rhinoplasty. However, after my consultation with Dr. Kotler, my nerves and fears were eliminated. He was very personable, caring, informative, confident, understanding and compassionate. I would and will highly recommend Dr. Kotler to friends and family. His staff is equally as wonderful. All of my questions and concerns were answered with ease. It was comforting to know that I could call the office at any time for any reason and have a pleasant, helpful and understanding voice on the other end.

With overwhelming gratitude,

A.J.
Las Vegas, NV

From the moment I met Dr. Kotler, I knew he was the only person I would trust to improve my nose. He's friendly, he's cool, and he's the best. What could have been an intimidating process was surprisingly easy thanks to him and his staff. I love the results and how friends think I look younger without knowing what I did. My secret weapon, Dr. Kotler, not only fixed a small flaw, he erased a big insecurity.

Dr. Kotler and Staff:

I would like to thank Dr. Kotler for the excellent revision rhinoplasty procedure he performed eight months ago. I would also like to extend my thanks to all of his staff for the care and help they have given me throughout the entire process. Three years ago I underwent a primary rhinoplasty procedure which went well without any complications, but overall I was unhappy with the final result. I did not achieve the aesthetic improvement I was seeking. I was recommended to Dr. Kotler by the receptionist of another doctor who reported having her own rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Kotler and stated that she was pleased with the results. Before undergoing the second procedure I had apprehensions due to the fact that the first procedure failed to meet my expectations, so I was very nervous about being disappointed for a second time. I also had reservations about the physical discomfort and pain, I wasn't sure if it would be worse considering this was a secondary procedure. After meeting with Dr. Kotler I had a good feeling about him and trusted that he could help me achieve the results I had been seeking since my initial procedure. After the surgery my pain was minimal and in fact the bruising did not last as a long as it did with the first procedure. After approximately two weeks, a lot of the swelling and all of the bruising had dissipated. I am still waiting for all of the swelling to go down completely, because it usually takes up to one year, however I can already see that my profile has improved, my bridge is higher and my tip is more refined. Overall, my experience with Dr Kotler, his staff and the staff at the outpatient surgery center has been extremely positive and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to improve his or her appearance.

Thanks,

K.E.

Dear Dr. Kotler, Mary, Auria, and prospective patients,

APRIL 2010

Throughout this experience, Dr. Kotler and his wonderful staff made this transition as comfortable and painless as anyone could hope for.

Going into surgery, I was mostly excited, but also very nervous. When I arrived to the surgical center, the nurses and staff were all so friendly and allowed me to be at ease. This was my first surgical operation and I didn't know what to expect. My biggest concern was feeling nauseous and sick after surgery. Dr. Kotler, the anesthesiologist, and staff reassured me that there was a very little chance I would feel nauseated. The surgery went smoothly and I was so thankful and ecstatic when the nurse woke me and told me that the surgery was completed. Dr. Kotler told my parents that the procedure was a "home-run!"

After surgery, I was tired for the remainder of the day. I took some medication, had a little dinner and snacks, and was off to sleep. The next couple of days, I had a great appetite and felt very good. I watched lots of movies, took naps, and spent quality time with my family and close friends. Thankfully, I was in very little pain and discomfort. I was so thrilled with the results. The swelling continued to go down more and more.

I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to have this procedure done. Having a new nose has helped me feel good about myself. Prior to my surgery, I was often embarrassed to take pictures or even have conversations with some people. Dr. Kotler is such an inspiring person and he allowed me to feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision.

SUMMER 2010

It has been a few months since I've had my nose surgery. The swelling has gone down so much! This summer, I went to Israel and had the best experience touring with an amazing program. I was comfortable taking pictures not worrying about how my nose will look in pictures. It is such an incredible feeling to see myself now, much more confident in myself, and happier. I am so very thankful and appreciative to my parents and Dr. Kotler and Staff. They were all so supportive and helped me in so many ways.

Thank you, again, to the entire staff especially Dr. Kotler, Mary, and Auria. You are all such wonderful people and I'm so happy to have met you.

All the best,
D.A.

When I was still in my teens, I was competing in a national all-star dance and cheerleading competition where I suffered a severe fracture of my nose. My team won that competition and I took home a personal all-star award, but the injury quickly overshadowed the joy of victory. My mother took me to see my family doctor who prescribed pain medication and told me to keep placing ice packs on my face. As a young girl in her senior year in high school, I was just overwhelmed with grief. I'm not sure which was worse, the pain of the nose or the pain in my heart. I was obsessed with getting it repaired.

After about a month or so, my mother took me to see a nasal specialist. He examined me and left the room to speak to my mother privately. They came back into the room and told me that I would be having surgery the following day to repair my nose. I couldn't believe it. I would get my surgery and have time to heal in time for prom and graduation. I was thrilled.

But, the thrill did not last long. I had the surgery and awoke in a critical care unit. A nurse told me that I had experienced excessive bleeding and that I would be staying there until I was stable and then moved to another room for an overnight stay. My mother walked in. She took a good look at me and burst into tears. The nurse escorted her out. Then, my high school boyfriend came in. His face turned pale white. He held my hand and I asked him, "What is wrong with me? Why did she (my mom) get hysterical like that?" He looked at me with a look of such seriousness and told me that I looked like I had been in a serious accident and a semi-truck had run over my face. He told me that it was hard even for him to see me like that.

For the next two months I was in agony. I had horrible packing in my nose and was unable to breathe. I was told the packing was "dissolvable" and it ran down the back of my throat causing me to spit and vomit constantly. My head was swollen like a basketball and the only peace I had was when I took pain medication that forced me to sleep. Every waking moment was a challenge. In an effort for me to stay strong, I covered all of our mirrors and refused to look at myself. I knew that the last thing I needed was further psychological trauma.

One might think that this led to an eventual healing and a "happy ending". Not exactly. I dealt with the recovery process and it took months. I went to prom and graduated at the top of my class. But, the nose that I started high school with did not resemble the one I had graduated with. My surgeon had performed a radical nasal surgery on me. He removed an excessive amount of cartilage and redesigned the tip. My nose appeared excessively slopped, longer than before, and the tip seemed "stiff". (Not to mention the fact that I ended up getting serious nasal allergies and chronic sinusitis after the surgery, as well.)

But, on went my life. I watched in the media as more and more people were getting nasal surgery and other plastic surgeries. I met with Beverly Hills surgeons for consultations. I wanted to get my nose repaired, but after seeing so many people with horrible results, I questioned whether a surgeon could actually improve my situation. Although I wasn't happy with the appearance of my nose and all the breathing problems that I had, the last thing I wanted to do was make it worse. I just knew that it would take the right surgeon to make the difference. So, many more years went by.

Finally, something rather special happened. I had been celebrating my birthday in Hawaii and on a flight home to California I read an in-flight magazine. Inside the magazine was the story of a woman who also had a bad nasal surgery and found a wonderful nasal surgeon to repair her problems. That surgeon's name was Dr. Robert Kotler. The article mentioned that his office was in Beverly Hills. That was very close to my home. I wrote down the information and decided that I would go home and do some research. I found Dr. Kotler's website and spent hours reading and looking at patient photos. I read his biography and "Googled" him to see if anything strange or negative popped up. Nothing did. The fact that he was a head and neck specialist intrigued me. He was not a guy who did four boob jobs in the morning and a nose job in the afternoon. He was a specialist. And, even more significant to me, he specialized in nasal "revision" surgery. So I made an appointment for a consultation.

I arrived for my consultation and was greeted by a very friendly staff member. The office was very clean and welcoming. I filled out a few forms and was taken back to an exam room. Within just a few minutes, Dr. Kotler came in and greeted me with a smile. He looked over my forms and examined my nose. He instantly assessed what my nasal problems were and articulately explained to me what would be required to repair them. We discussed my previous surgical experience and he shared many stories about other patients he had seen who suffered similarly, many of whom he was able to provide improvement. I left the consultation feeling exhilarated. I knew that Dr. Kotler's special expertise and many years of experience was exactly what I needed. If anyone were going to make a positive impact on my nasal situation, it would be him. After some more careful consideration, I called to schedule the nasal revision surgery with Dr. Kotler.

About a month and a half after my consultation, I arrived at the Summit Surgical Center for my surgery. The staff was all very friendly and put me at ease. Dr. Kotler came to see me to discuss the procedure one more time and then they wheeled me in. I woke up in recovery with a wonderful nurse smiling at me and telling jokes. She said, "You did great. You look wonderful." And as amazing as it was to me, I actually felt like that was true. I did feel like someone punched me in the face really, really hard but other than that I felt great. This time my nose was throbbing and not my entire body!

A few hours after the surgery I walked out of the building and into a car taking me home. It felt like a miracle. I sat in the car saying, "Thank God" over and over like a mantra. It was as if years and years of pain and suffering were being relieved. And the truth is, they were. Each day after the surgery, I healed in leaps and bounds. There was no visible bruising, my packing also included breathing tubes so I could breathe, and the swelling was very minimal. One short week later, I was back at Dr. Kotler's office to have the splint and packing removed and got to take a look at my nose. I was overcome with emotion. It was beautiful. I actually looked more like "me", more like I did before my injury and the bad surgery that haunted me for years. Dr. Kotler had helped me to return to "me" and that was so much more than I had hoped for.

For people like me who suffered a terrible nasal surgery in the past, the decision to trust another doctor to repair it is a difficult one. I spent years feeling very skeptical and fearful of what might happen if I were to go under the knife one more time. What if it ends up being worse? What if the doctor isn't as good as he seems? I saw doctor after doctor and spent countless hours doing research every year. I took my time and made sure that if I did find someone to perform a revision, he would be a pro. I found that pro in Dr. Kotler.

With each passing month, my happiness grows. I wake up each morning and wash a face that I recognize as "me" and my heart feels light. Now, each time I look in the mirror I smile, realizing that it is real. I left that old nose and all the pain that came along with it. I wouldn't change a thing; expect maybe discovering the amazing Dr. Kotler sooner.

Two years ago I underwent surgery to correct my deviated septum. I decided to use the best surgeon in my area since I live in one of the largest cities in the U.S. Unfortunately, not only was the procedure a failure, but also my nose developed a dip (referred to as "saddle nose") as a result of the procedure.

Faced with a worsened condition, this past year I decided to seek out the very best surgeon period to try and fix my nose- no matter where he/she was located in the world. After a lot of research, I chose Dr. Kotler.

Although I was nervous and skeptical given my prior experience, Dr. Kotler was completely confident that my "saddle nose" could be fixed simply by using silicone injections and my deviated septum could be fixed by using a procedure he has successfully performed for years (which does not even cause external swelling). I was amazed by his diagnosis and recommendation because my first surgeon was completely unaware of the techniques that Dr. Kotler explained to me. I realized that that if great/well-respected surgeons out there are not even aware of the best techniques/procedures (let alone able to perform them) there is a profound difference between the very best and everyone else.

It's also important to know that Dr. Kotler is a great guy all-around. He's easy-going and makes you feel comfortable right from the start- and his staff is fantastic. Everything from scheduling to preparation is really easy. Dr Kotler even stayed late at his office one night to accommodate me when I was late for an appointment due to a flight delay.

With regard to results, I'm not sure what else to say except that I am truly thankful for what Dr. Kotler has done for me. The results are amazing and the procedures caused no discomfort. Working with Dr. Kotler has been great in every way. I have learned a valuable lesson with this experience- I will never again settle for very good/great surgeons because it is just too risky. I will always go right to the very best without hesitation.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I had both a privilege and misfortune of having two deviated septum surgeries. My first surgery was performed in November of 2005 and was unsuccessful for several reasons. My nasal passages were still poorly structured, and the shape of my nose, deformed from a childhood trauma was not corrected at all.

I found Dr. Kotler through several of his bestselling books on amazon.com. I was touched with an honest and direct message I haven't noticed from other 6 surgeons I met before selecting Dr. Kotler. A $250 investment in a preliminary session with him was the best investment I ever made, because it resulted in a successful outcome of the most important surgery of my life thus far. First of all, I cannot describe the horror of waking up from a surgery and realizing you have no nose and you can't breathe. That is how I felt when I awoke from my first surgery. Try closing down your nostrils for a few minutes so that not one molecule of oxygen seeps through into your lungs to give you life.

Now imagine feeling this way for nearly a week, day and night.

Dr. Kotler's tubes allowed me to awaken at peace that I can breathe with my nose despite the surgery. It allowed me to recover so much better during the first few days, that words cannot describe. I was able to better sleep at night, and eat during the day. My recover was incredibly faster.

I also wanted to explain in bullets why I selected Dr. Kotler:

  • Incredible reputation, just google his record, and check amazon for his books.
  • Honest and direct about what I should or shouldn't do, if you don't need a surgery he will tell you, and explain why.
  • He'll spend 3 times more time with you than most other surgeons during a meeting.
  • His office was the only office that gave me a color projection of what I will look like after a surgery, while others refused to do so for various reasons.
  • Quality of his staff was impeccable.

As the outcome of my surgery I experienced the following:

  • Dr treated me as if I were his first ever patient. Amazing support and availability day and night.
  • He will make you feel like you're his first and only patient.
  • Came on a Sunday alone to take off my bandages 1 day early.
  • Results were 100% on target with the projected image.
  • I can breathe so well I don't ever remember breathing this way before.
  • Incredible experience yet as caring and humble as a newbie during support days.
  • Multiple free office follow-up visits and consultation.
  • Never felt rushed to get the heck out of the office as I do with almost every other doctor.

I never got any kick backs for doing this letter. I write it from my heart, and as an engineer, I write it in specific factual points. If I ever have to do another surgery that is performed by Dr. Kotler, I wouldn't choose another doctor if they paid me to do it with them. I can only hope that Dr. Kotler will not name a price that will give me a heart attack now that he knows how I feel about his work.

Sincerely Yours,

J. M.

I have suffered from sinus pressure and headaches year-round for over 10 years. The only temporary relief for my discomfort was over the counter sinus medicine, which I took an average of three times a week. After consulting with numerous doctors, it was clear that Dr. Kotler was the most qualified surgeon for the job. He was not only knowledgeable, but extremely personable and he made me feel at-ease from the moment we met. After undergoing my procedure, I noticed immediate relief from my sinus headaches.

It has been almost two years since my surgery and I could not be more pleased. My weekly headaches have been reduced to one every 2-3 months, if that. Also, I feel more energized, and I no longer suffer from the side affects of chronic self-medication. There is no doubt that this procedure has changed my life. I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from sinus discomfort. Thank you Dr. Kotler!

I had rhinoplasty surgery earlier this year. It was something I wanted for a long time but was always hesitant because I feared the results might not be satisfactory and there's no going back. After doing some research, I got a referral to see Dr. Kotler. I was very impressed with my initial consultation because he was able to give me a simulation of what my nose would look like and it put all the guessing aside.

The surgery itself went pretty smoothly. There was little discomfort overall which was taken care of with medication. The swelling started to go down more and more everyday. It's been 4 months now, and I love the results. My nose looks so natural that I can honestly say that my own father doesn't know I did anything to it. The swelling is almost completely gone. At least I can't tell anything, but Dr. Kotler says there's still some room for it to go down even more.

My entire experience was quite pleasant. Everybody in the office was competent and professional. The best thing about the surgery is that my new nose hasn't changed my face. It's basically my nose, but much more delicate and feminine so it matches my face perfectly. Dr. Kotler knew exactly how to make very precise changes to my nose so that my face wouldn't look different. So I'm still me with a better version of my old nose. Very natural results. Most people can't tell I've had anything done.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Kotler to my friends or whoever is considering a rhinoplasty. I feel that Dr. Kotler knows exactly how to make the new nose fit the face so that none of the facial proportions are compromised. He doesn't just give you a random nose. He gives you a nose based on your face to make sure that it fits and complements your facial features, hence making it look very natural. Once again, thank you very much for meeting my expectations. It was a pleasure.

Y.A.

Thank you so much for the surgery on my nose. There is a great difference between awaking several times a night because of breathing problems and having a good night sleep, and be rested in the morning. The recovery was great and shorter than I expected. I would also want to thank your staff and especially Mary for all the assistance, information and help provided during my visits and over the phone. The surgery results went far beyond what I had hoped for, and I'm grateful.

I am writing this exactly one month after my functional and cosmetic nasal surgery. I could honestly say that I am extremely pleased with the results. This has changed my life immensely. I had a deviated septum that inhibited my breathing quite a bit and as I breathe today it has most definitely improved. I can actually breathe and I know it will only get better as I continue to heal. As for the cosmetic aspect of this surgery, I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Kotler for doing an amazing job! I used to hate having pictures taken because I had a long nose with a bump on top. It did not fit my face at all! Thankfully, Dr. Kotler changed it and made it fit my face perfectly. He is phenomenal! He is my idol! I love my new nose and the new me! Not only is Dr. Kotler the most genuine, compassionate, and special doctor, but his staff is exceptional as well. They were there for me no matter what and always with a smile and useful advice. Before and after surgery they were there to answer whatever questions I had and made me feel so comfortable with the entire procedure. This team works well together and without a doubt are the best! Now for the recovery process, I'm not going to lie it was a little tough, but nothing I couldn't handle! I used the advice given to me by Mary and what I read in Dr. Kotler's book and it definitely worked! I ate papaya and pineapple to help with the bruising and I iced my face with peas a lot to help with the swelling. I must admit that it worked well because when the bandages came off, my face was swollen but there was minimal bruising. I used everything that was prepared for me in the take-home kit from the surgical center exactly how it was instructed and everything went smoothly. I actually was out with my friends a week after my surgery! I have no regrets and am 110% happy I had this surgery. I would trust Dr. Kotler with anything regarding my face! He fits his title perfectly; he is a super-specialist!

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I do not know where to begin or how to thank you enough for making my rhinoplasty experience a pleasant and easy one. When I first considered having my nose fixed, I would always revert back to "Do I really need to do it? It's going to be so painful, I'm so scared to go under anesthesia, and what will people think?" I researched the top plastic surgeons in the U.S. and that's how I found you. I read so many positive reviews and saw the most incredible before and after photos I figured I'd do myself a favor a see how my computer imaging would turn out. A few days later I heard back from the nicest, most patient woman ever - Auria.

Auria was so patient and helpful, and anyone I spoke to in your office were all so understanding and kept reassuring me that I am in the best hands for what I wanted to achieve. It was truly comforting.

Auria arranged a SKYPE consultation because I did not live in the LA area. All I can say is it was the best consultation ever. I had one other cosmetic procedure and I felt like my other surgeon was rushing me out of the office and that was a face to face consultation. Even though we were speaking over the computer, you were so patient and answered all my questions and made all my fears go out the window. After our consultation I felt so confident that you were the only person that could give me the change I wanted and also, seeing how amazing my computer imaging looked, gave me that final push to ask Auria if we could set a date.

When I first set foot in your office, I felt like I knew everyone for years. I was so excited to finally meet everyone in person. It was the day before surgery and Mary helped put everything in order (including my final jitters). She had me speak to the anesthesiologist to ease my worries of going under, and it did the trick. I just kept thinking that I was going to be stuck in a bed for a week, unable to move, with swollen shut eyes, bruising and I would in NO WAY be able to take care of my toddler age daughter for at least a week. But after speaking to everyone involved, by surgery day I was confident in every way.

Surgery day came and I began to get nervous all over again, but I just kept telling myself everything you told me and with the support of my family, and you and your staff, (and that Valium LOL) I was ready to do it.

After the hour surgery I remember you checking on me, and seeing my husband and all I wanted to do was rest. I didn't feel extreme pain at all, I just felt sleepy. I was released to the care of husband and I was so surprised to see that I was able to walk, and talk as if I didn't have any surgery. I wasn't swollen, and I felt pretty normal. It was almost scary how OK I felt. My husband was also surprised, he kept asking me if I was OK, and couldn't believe how awake and aware I was. I didn't feel any pain either. I took one pain pill the first day and never needed anything again. We were actually going to get some breakfast, but I remembered that Dr. Kotler said I should go back to the hotel and rest. That's exactly what I did. I slept on and off the rest of the day and caught up on some movies. It was very relaxing.

I slept pretty well that night considering my nose had packing in it. The next morning I again was surprised that I didn't have any bruising and just some swelling. It was nothing like what I expected. I took the packing out the next morning and felt great. I went out, shopped, hung out with my family, and ate at local restaurants. It was such a relief. I was so pleased it didn't really interfere with my life. It was more than worth it to me. When I finally saw my new nose, I was amazed! It was my nose, just more refined and prettier. My husband said it "was the nose I was suppose to have."

I remember Dr. Kotler saying that no one would notice, and I kept thinking... no way, someone is definitely going to notice me getting a nose job. Well, I can admit when I'm wrong and I was so wrong. I went back home after 10 days and no one - not even my siblings noticed. It was so crazy to me! I was relieved and so happy! I loved me new nose and I didn't have to answer any questions from friends or family, I just received compliments on how my "vacation" had me looking more refreshed! I never thought someone would say I looked refreshed after a nose job.

All I can say is if ANYONE is thinking about making a huge or slight change to his or her nose or face, PLEASE go to Dr. Kotler. He is honest, sincere and understanding of exactly what his patient wants and is realistic on what he can give you. Everyday my nose looks better and better. It was such a pleasant experience and I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Kotler and his whole staff. Thank you so much Dr. Kotler!

S.

Dr. Kotler performed cosmetic and internal surgery to correct my breathing. I never fully trusted a doctor with the power to alter my face until I met Dr. Kotler. After meeting with him, I was confident in his expertise, and I knew that he would improve my appearance without looking like I had work done. Needless to say, I was right. In fact, Dr. Kotler even delivered a better result than I expected. His talent is unquestionable. The best part of this procedure is being able to actually breathe. In fact, I was able to breathe immediately after the procedure through the new tube system. I am extremely pleased and happy with my surgery. I just wish I knew of Dr. Kotler YEARS ago!

S.S., Los Angeles

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I wanted to take a few moments to thank you for making my nose surgery as pleasing an experience as possible. From the moment I walked into your beautiful office, I knew I was in the right place. Your wonderful staff took the time to walk me through all the steps of my surgery and answered every question I had. I was able to see pictures of your prior work and my projected results. I felt totally at ease with you. You made it easy to discuss exactly what I wanted and any fears I had. You explained how these changed are made and let me know exactly what my surgery would entail. As my surgery date approached, I received many calls from your office to make sure I had no further questions or concerns. The support I received from them was incredible. Your anesthesiologist even called the night before! I have never really had major surgery, but I doubt that most patients receive this kind of thoughtful care. Everybody in the surgicenter made sure my spirits were up and I was ready to go the morning of my surgery. I felt totally and completely unafraid. After I was home that day, I received calls from both you and your office. (Even the people at the surgicenter made sure I was O.K.) what can I tell you, it has now been about two months since my surgery and I am more pleased than I thought possible. I didn't want to look like another person, just improve on the old one. But the results have far exceeded anything I could have imagined. I would recommend any person thinking of having any kind of facial enhancement, come see you. I could not imagine receiving the same kind of professional care I received from you and your staff anywhere else. Dr. Kotler you are the best. Thank you for everything!

Sincerely,

Melissa M.

Dr. Kotler,

I want to thank you for the wonderful job you did on my nose. Not only is it tailored to my facial features, but to my personality as well. One of my biggest concerns when I was choosing a doctor was that all of the noses on all of the patients looked exactly the same. It was as if the doctors I had spoken with had found one nose that worked and had simply chosen to reproduce it over and over again without regard to the individual. When I went through all of the photos and watched the video in your office, I thought, “finally, a doctor who doesn’t mass produce his looks.”

As a doctor, your attentiveness before and after surgery, was so very reassuring and most appreciated. Your staff should also be commended. I cant tell you how many office I had been to where staff members tried to bully me into scheduling the procedure, where the doctor was far too busy to answer my questions personally, and one of the doctors was just plain arrogant. You and your staff were concerned about me and my health and were always informative, prompt and helpful.

This procedure was something I had contemplated for quite a number of years, but I always found a good reason/excuse for not going ahead with it. It was a simple, painless procedure that I had built up in my mind until it became an intimidating prospect involving a huger expense and lots of pain and discomfort. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I didn’t even take so much as an aspiring while I was recuperating and I was really surprised at how little bruising and swelling was involved. My first thought when I saw my nose after surgery was “I can’t believe I waited all those years!” I still think that when I look in the mirror. I am lucky to have found you when I did, as I can’t imagine still walking around with my old nose.

So thank you again, Dr. Kotler! You (and my new nose) have made such a positive impact in my life.

Sincerely,

Heidi B.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I’ve just passed the 6 month mark since my nasal surgery and I wanted to tell you how happy I am with the results and just as important, how happy I am that I chose you to perform the procedure.

In my case, the decision to proceed came after 10 months of research on my own. I read every book and magazine on the subject I could find. I also consulted other cosmetic surgeons to make sure I would make the best decision.

In November, I arranged a follow up consultation at your office and during that visit I made my mind up to have the surgery and have it performed by you.

Just like you said the improvement is fantastic, and yet my results perfectly fit my face! Each time I see an old photo, I am again reminded of the change that has taken place. Not to mention the added bonus of being able to breathe through my nose like never before.

As I said, my path led me to visit many other physicians and specialists. I am sure that their work is good, but no other office is run like yours. Patients truly appreciate a thorough consultation handled in a discrete manner, where every question is answered. This was the case in your office. I commend you and your staff. Your concern extended way beyond the office with your several phone calls to check up on how I was doing after I went home!

Thank you Dr. Kotler, you are the best!

Sincerely,

Don V.

P.S. I do have one regret, I should have done this years ago!

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I just wanted to write to tell you about how happy I am with the results of my surgery. Having my nose done is probably the best decision I have ever made (if only I could have done it sooner!!).

I was extremely amazed at the short recovery period, and how much of an impact this surgery has made on my life. I feel so much more secure about going out in public with my hair pulled away from my face and with little or no makeup (before my surgery I NEVER went without makeup!). My new nose looks so natural yet so proportional with the rest of my features, which is something I didn’t think could happen---I thought that id have to sacrifice one in order to have the other. It’s so nice to know that I don’t have to “balance out” my features with heavy makeup or try to hide my “old nose” with a certain hairstyle.

Also, there’s one other thing; it’s not only the results of the surgery that I must mention, in addition to this, the whole process before and after surgery was made so fantastic and easy by your wonderful staff. They all worked so hard to take extremely good care of me.

In closing, I’d like to thank you and your staff for your exquisite care. Believe me, if I had to do it all over again, I’d do it in a second---there’s no question about it!!!

Sincerely,

J

Dear Dr. Kotler,

When my husband found he needed surgery for a deviated septum he decided to also perform a cosmetic procedure to remove the bump on his nose. We felt this required a surgeon with experience who was an expert in his field – not just any surgeon.

We set about researching and interviewing many doctors. In the process we learned more about the procedure involved from each physician. Many were easily eliminated after just the primary consultation.

After all the investigation, he chose Dr. Robert Kotler. Dr. Kotler has over 30 years of experience and specializes in facial surgery. He presents a relaxed, easy-going, but professional attitude. In his office there were many impressive examples of “before and after” photos, some from well-known personalities. And we both felt a comfortable rapport with the doctor.

When the procedure was finished my husband was very happy with the results. Immediately after surgery we had a minor emergence when the cast was accidentally removed from his nose. Dr. Kotler came in on a day off to attend and reassure. He did tell us we could contact him ANYTIME; and what a relief to have that reassurance when it was put to the test!

Now that the healing is almost complete and we look back, our research has paid off. We chose the right doctor and would recommend him highly. He runs a tight ship for an army guy – everyone on staff was attentive, friendly and professional, taking time to answer our endless questions and help in any way. We didn’t feel like a number. Most importantly, the results are outstanding and my husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Kotler as a highly skilled and top notch cosmetic surgeon.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I am writing to express my gratitude for the wonderful works you’ve done for me with the nasal surgery. You as a doctor displayed great expertise in your profession, genuine concern, and follow-through towards your patients – I could not have chosen a better doctor.

The surgery has proven to be a tremendous benefit health-wise as I can attest to:

Breathing with ease;
A significant reduction in post-nasal drip;
Blowing my nose with ease;
No more snoring;
No more nosebleed;

In addition to having my features refined, I am more confident and committed to excellence in life and work! In a world overtaken by sight and smell (especially in Southern California), my new look has attributed to increased opportunities personally and professionally. In the past year, I have been blessed with two promotions and am in the midst of a third in sales. I am living proof that details make a difference in life! We are a society of the “Cumulative Effect,” whereby people observe the whole “packaging” of a person: looks, education, status, career, personal hygiene, etc. Looks are a big bonus and are at the top of the list, although we don’t like to admit it.

The season was perfect for this surgery and I am thankful each time I look in the mirror. Thank you so much, Dr. Kotler.

Very truly,

Chris D.

Dear Dr. Kotler and Staff,

My experience with you and your staff was brilliant.

I have lived in Los Angeles for fourteen years, your practice is only one of two that I have been involved with which has been as knowledgeable, courteous and kind.

You are truly an artist. Most people don’t realize how difficult it must be to re-design a nose. Not only do you need to have vision, but not making any mistakes in surgery is crucial.

The nose you gave me is perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. You have changed my life and my perspective on surgery.

Whoever reads this note I will leave with this statement: Dr. Kotler is someone you can communicate with and trust. In this day and age that is truly rare.

Sincerely Grateful,

Jens S

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I wanted to write to you to thank you for changing my life. Not only has my appearance been enhanced, but also because of your expertise, I can breathe better than I have in over twenty years.

As you know, I originally came to you because I wanted the bump on my nose eliminated and the tip of my nose reshaped. I had actually paid another cosmetic surgeon to perform the rhinoplasty; however a physician friend of mine strongly recommended that I see you before I had my surgery. He said, “if you want your nose done, see Dr. Kotler, he’s the best.” Based on this recommendation, I came to see you and was immediately impressed with the fact that you made a computer image of what my nose would look like after surgery. The other surgeon did not have this capability and, frankly this made me uncomfortable, but I decided to go through with the surgery anyway because a friend of mine had her nose done by this doctor.

With just days before the surgery with the other physician, I decided to have you perform my surgery instead. The computer image was not the only reason for my change of mind. As part of my routine checkup, you examined the inside of my nose. You noticed that I had obstructions. This confirmed what I suspected because my nose was broken over twenty years ago and my husband told me that I had a snoring problem. You explained the septoplasty and the rhinoplasty to me, and I felt extremely comfortable that you knew exactly what you were doing, and more importantly, you listened to how I wanted my nose and face to look after surgery.

I love my new nose. You made my nose fit my face. In fact, my sister didn’t even notice that I had a rhinoplasty. It’s that natural looking. Also, I can breathe better than I have in twenty years! I feel that I am better oxygenated, and I can jog for longer periods of time without getting out of breath. My sense of smell is more acute; now only two squirts of perfume instead of four.

In all my years as a health care professional, I have met few doctors who have the patience, kindness, and bedside manner that you have. I still shudder at the thought that I may have made a terrible mistake by having surgery performed by someone else. I listened to my intuition and also to my friends who are in the “know” and made an incredible life changing decision.

With warmest regards,

Sandra P.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I’d like to share with you the whole new world I have encountered with my new look.

About a week after the surgery, I was driving and noticed a very peculiar thing. While lane changing, I used to turn my head to get a better view of oncoming traffic, yet I wasn’t turning my head as much. I couldn’t figure it out. Then it hit me; my nose was no longer an obstacle. Yippee!

I dreaded drinking champagne from a narrow flute, because my nose top would “taste” the champagne before my lips. Well no longer does that happen. Bring on the champagne.

While on my summer vacation, I rented a snorkeling mask, and my nose fit perfectly. It was such a wonderful relief, and not to mention, a wonderful feeling of normalcy.

I have discovered the beauty of Eskimo kisses, crinkling my nose in delight, breathing, and close up profile pictures. Not only has my personal life been enriched so immensely, but also so has my financial portfolio. How you ask? Simple. By having less of a nose, I use less amounts of face creams, sun blocks, and facial tissue. Okay, that’s a bit silly, however the extreme happiness I am enjoying allows for silliness.

To quote all the other testimonials, I wished I had done it sooner.

Thank you so much for your caring hands and for having such a lovely staff.

Your devoted fan,

Patricia E.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing my surgery. I absolutely love my new nose. I am back in school and all my friends, who noticed, keep saying how much they love it and that they want to go get one now too. I enjoyed my stay out in LA, and all the restaurants you recommended were wonderful. I have had no problems with my recovery and I can’t wait to start playing intramurals at Auburn. Thank you for the book. I have enjoyed it as well as my family members. I just wanted to keep you update and let you know how much I appreciate all you have done for me.

Thanks again,

Jordan B.

Dear Dr. Kotler and staff,

First of all, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me so happy with my new look. It’s been a while since we have talked but I had a family emergency and had to go back to Europe for a while. Now I am back and I am just able to enjoy my new look. I always looked at myself as a European girl with a big nose and never as a European girl with a great personality. Now all that has changed and I can’t even tell you how much my life has changed since the surgery. My nose looks so natural that very few people have noticed that I had surgery, but everybody noticed that I look better. Now I am more confident when I am around people and just more confident with myself in general.

Secondly, I cant express enough how a wonderful doctor you are. You are a doctor with a great personality and excellent expertise. The whole time I have spent at your office you have been nothing but professional and helpful in every aspect of the procedure. The surgery was painless and the recovery was minimal. I also cannot forget to mention your assistant Mary who has been equally great. I have traveled all the way from Jacksonville, FL for you to perform my surgery. I have researched all the doctors in your area and all over the United States. After I researched you and once I’ve seen all of your accomplishments and all the surgeries that you performed I was confident you would be the doctor that I can trust to give me the best results. I was definitely correct in every aspect of the way. Every extra expense and time that I have lost for traveling so far I don’t regret a bit. On the contrary I will gladly do it again.

Finally, I just want to say that you are the best surgeon that I have ever met and will ever meet. If anybody ever wants to get rhinoplasty or septoplasty you would be the best doctor for the job. I am living proof of that. You have changed my life and I wish that everybody that is looking for the best doctor and best results will know to select you. Thank you again for everything you did for me and all you do every day.

Sincerely,

Selma P.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I wanted to thank you for making my dreams come true. I love my nose. It is everything that I wanted. I had such an amazing experience. Everyone in your office was wonderful and helpful. Dr. Kotler, you are a wonderful doctor. You have helped complete me. I remember seeing my mom for the first time after surgery. She looked at me and cried and I know they were tears of joy because my nose looked so wonderful and she knows how happy I am and that my nose looks great. You are the best.

Very best regards,

Amy F.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I would just like to say to anyone who is considering cosmetic surgery with Dr. Kotler that you could not pick a more caring and talented surgeon. I have had experience with many Beverly Hills surgeons, and all I can say is that I wish I came to Dr. Kotler first. I had a rhinoplasty procedure done by another surgeon, which simply came out horrible. Other surgeons either did not want to attempt to correct it or did not win my confidence, but once I met Dr. Kotler, read his book, and saw his many previous ‘works of art’, I was confident he would fulfill my original vision of how I wanted my nose to look.

The results were absolutely amazing! I cannot even explain how happy I am with the results or even begin to express my gratitude. My nose looks even better then how I originally envisioned it. My only regret is that I didn’t go to Dr. Kotler first, but I am so relieved he was able to fix it. Although it was a rocky journey before Dr. Kotler, he has restored my faith in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Kotler and his staff are so accommodating, professional and friendly. From personality, to credentials and experience, Dr. Kotler is as good as it gets. He truly has a terrific eye and perfect perspective. There are many talented surgeons, but what sets Dr. Kotler apart, and what I believe had made him so renowned is that he truly has a natural ability to see and create the best possible result.

The nose is such a prominent aspect of the face and it really is one of the components that shape the whole face. I am just so glad with everything Dr. Kotler has done for me. I will be thankful to him for the rest of my life.

-M.Y.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I am writing to let you know how happy I am with my new nose. It has been six months and I still love it…

Once the initial swelling went down, I could tell it looked 100% better than before. My husband, and friends who know that I had it done, consider you a magician. Since your instructions from me were, “I still want my nose; just a better version of it.” They are amazed and impressed with your work. The best part is that friends who I had seen only the week prior to surgery couldn’t tell I had had it done. They commented on how well I looked, and asked me if I cut my hair. The new and improved version of my nose looked so natural that they really couldn’t tell. Later I confessed to what changes had been made and let them look (up-close). They still couldn’t tell I had had my nose worked on.

The inside work you performed, however, was much harder for me to immediately gage. It seemed like I was breathing better but I wasn’t sure of the full difference and benefit, until the L.A. fires. I didn’t recognize just how much better I was breathing until all the noses around me that suffer with allergies, as mine used to, became stopped up; mine didn’t! My eyes got red, and throat sore from the soot just like everyone else’s but it wasn’t until everybody started sounding very nasally and rummaging through my desk for nasal decongestants did I realize the difference. I have not had a stuffed up nose from an allergy attack since the surgery. Also, I have not needed to use a single dose of nasal decongestant since. This is saying a lot, since I used to buy Drixoral six boxes at a time. Even when I recently had a head cold, my nose became only a little stuffed up by comparison to what I am now used to be. What I call a stuffed up nose now is better than what used to be a good breathing day before the surgery.

When it comes to allergy symptoms, ability to breathe and general appearance…I guess I would say, thanks to you, “I won by a nose.”

Best Wishes,

Valerie J.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I am writing to thank you for doing such a wonderful job on my nose and ears. What a difference to look in the mirror and find the facial features that once caused me to feel self-conscious now boost my self-confidence.

Before I selected you as my surgeon, I consulted with five other doctors. After shopping around, the decision was very easy. From the very beginning, you and your staff gave me the assurance that you would provide successful results. I was very impressed with your willingness to listen to my needs and really take the time to understand what I was looking for. I also appreciated your forthright honestly when explaining what I could expect.

When I presented you with my own “before and after” sketches, you requested to study them to gain a better understanding of what I wanted to achieve. I knew then that I had found the right doctor. As a graphic artist, I have an acute eye for proportion, and I knew I could better explain what I was looking for with an illustration. None of the other surgeons showed as much interest in my sketches. You took the process even further by recommending I take advantage of your computerized imaging service. With this you convinced me that you really understood the results I wanted. Your imager was especially helpful with her computer imaging skills and patience as she worked with me to find the right “after” image. Consulting with surgeons for cosmetic facial surgery is not an easy task, but you made it much easier by providing this took to help establish clear communication. The fact that you offer access to this service through the internet is convenient for anyone considering this type of surgery.

In closing I want you to know that I am extremely pleased with the face you helped me achieve. You and your staff made my surgery a pleasure. Yes, even the recovery process after surgery was made easier knowing that you were only a phone call away eager to help in any way. Thank you and your whole staff for making my cosmetic surgery a very positive experience.

Sincerely,

Richard G.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I wish to extend my greatest thanks and appreciation to you. My nose looks great, and functions very well now. I am extremely pleased with all aspects of my experience.

The portfolio I received in the mail was highly informative. It was well organized and contains much information that is very relevant to those concerning facial plastic surgery. It was nice to be able to have an abundance of information concerning the actual surgery to refer to when I had questions or wanted more information.

After receiving the portfolio, I was sure I wanted to have a consultation with you. When I had my consultation, I was extremely pleased at the professionalism of the practice and the amount of personal attention I was given by each and every single member of the staff. It seemed that each member of your office knew my name. The consultation was a great learning experience for me. I was very impressed with the computer imaging tool. Being able to view the predicted results was very exciting. The imager even put my image on a disk, so I could take it home so I could view it on my computer later. This tool also proved instrumental in my decision because I was able to view my “predicted after photo” at my leisure. It allowed me to take my time and really think about what I wanted to do. I went home with a wealth of information and a very positive impression of plastic surgery. With all of the information and personal attention I was given, I was ready to make a decision.

Your entire practice is one in a million; each and every person in your office contributes to the wonderful experience patients have. Your focus on education patients on surgery, rather then pressuring them into surgery creates a very relaxed and open atmosphere, not often found in many practices. I felt very comfortable calling your office and asking questions, however small, before, during and after my recovery.

Reflecting on my experience, I see that having the procedure performed by you was one of the best things I could’ve ever done for myself. I am extremely proud of what I see in the mirror, and I can breathe correctly.

Thanking you,

Leanne C.

Dr. Kotler,

Thank you for the wonderful attention given by you and your staff on the day of surgery. Everyone at your office is attentive and supportive.

Karen A., Los Angeles, CA

Dr. Kotler,

The hands of God must have guided you as I feel so blessed!

Salome S., Ethiopia

After having gone through one surgical procedure and the true results being revealed a couple of years later, I was left feeling dissatisfied. I heard of this amazing technique that Dr Kotler performed as surgery was not an option.

It was a gradual progression; Dr Kotler makes sure that it looks natural and that not too much of the filler is applied at once. This allows you to see where the results are headed. There is very little discomfort and no down time at all. He is a very caring and honest doctor and has an amazing gift that no one else is performing.

I would highly recommend Dr Kotler to anyone with a cosmetic concern.

Dearest Dr. Kotler,

I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for me. When I met you at the book signing at Barnes & Nobles I was still a bit shy and self conscious of the conspicuous "dent" in my nose and realized, after mustering up the courage to ask you if something could be done, luck was on my side that day. I think we all know when we are in the presence of someone who is blessed by God's grace - your friendly, warm smile and comforting words made me realize there was nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about for having had two corrective nasal procedures which over time resulted in the appearance of being "over corrected". I bought and read your book that very day and was confident God was sending me in the right direction and into very capable hands. I was apprehensive about a third procedure and the possiblility of complications. You sat me down stated as "matter of fact" how common my situation was and how easy it would be to resolve. Three simple visits to your office for "silicone" injections and the appearance of my nose was corrected. Your attention to detail is impeccable. The results were immediately noticeable. I kicked myself for not having done something sooner but realized the entire experience and waiting for the right opportunity has made me more grateful.

Today, one year later, I happily spoke with you once again on the phone. You still remembered me even without my file in hand. When you asked me personal questions about my family, I was reminded once again how special you are and how fortunate I am. I believe anyone who is lucky enough to stumble into Dr. Kotler's office must have done something good that day!

All my love, gratitude, and to many more years of helping others,

- T. K.

Chemical Wrinkle Removal Testimonials

Dear Dr. Kotler and Staff:

Recently I had an occasion to visit your office again, along with a friend who was having a small procedure done. I was amazed to see how well Dr. Kotler looked, he is ageless.

I have been a patient, and for a short time an employee, I had the privilege of working at his office speaking with prospective patients. He looks for good candidates who will really benefit from his special genius. (In fact I have often thought how wonderful it must be to have the ability, talent and skill to change person's appearances in such a positive way.)

While there I witnessed the most spectacular changes in appearance and attitude that a person can experience. To say that his patients were extremely pleased with his artistry and their very natural appearance after surgery would be an understatement. In many cases their whole personality seemed to change, as they felt better and more confident about their appearance.

This was also my own experience I was extremely pleased with my results and would do it again in a heart beat.

I would recommend Dr. Kotler to anyone who is even thinking about any facial surgery. If I had to choose the most beneficial procedure of these I would say the chemical peel. As we age our skin takes a beating every day from the sun, weather, and life style. The lines that occur around the eyes and mouth, plus the natural pull of gravity makes all of us look older than we feel. At the time of my chemical peel I felt I had all of these conditions. Dr. Kotler thought I'd be a good candidate for the “Peel”. I was 56 years old, and while I felt a little anxious, I had seem the results of so many of his patients, I was ready.

I felt no pain or any discomfort during the surgery thanks to Dr. Kotler and his very qualified staff. I had very little discomfort during the recovery. The usual swelling and redness was minor and the benefits outstanding. I was extremely pleased with the final results. At that time Dr. Kotler told me you'll always look ten years younger than your actual age.

This statement has certainly been true, people are always remarking how much younger I look than my actual age which will be 80 in a few months.

All this I owe to the talent, technique, and artistry of Dr. Kotler and his very qualified staff.

This procedure truly changed my life and I recommend that anyone who wants to look and feel better not settle for any thing less than the very best that would be Dr. Kotler.

A former patient and admirer of your work,

Sincerely,
J.R.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

This is your BIGGEST FAN writing!!! I want to thank you for a wonderful new life! It's been sixteen weeks since my chemical peel and I could not be happier. Everything you predicted has come true - from the peel, to the recovery and the subsequent weeks that followed. In addition, as you predicted, people who are not aware of my peel make comments that I'm looking healthier and younger. Most make the comment, as you said they would, "you look different, and it must be your hair". I am now at a stage where there is only a slight redness that is easily masked with minimal makeup.

I also want to thank your office staff, the Summit Surgery nurses, Jade Healing Retreat nurses and makeup specialist, Cynthia Roman. First - your office staff are excellent! They are kind, friendly, professional and always willing to help. In respects to the Summit Surgery Center nursing staff and anethesiologist - I can see why you like them so much. They were great!!! They made sure I was comfortable in pre-op and knowledgeable of the procedure and constantly reassured all would be well; and they did not let me down. I especially liked the level of confidence they had in your surgical abilities and how highly they thought of you as a person. You could see it in their eyes and hear it in their tone when they said, "you were the best!" The Jade Healing Retreat experience was nothing short of superb. The accommodations were perfect in every way. The nurses were contemporary Florence Nightingale's insuring my every need was met - including holding my hand and talking to me when my anxiety got the best of me. In addition, the coordination of care between Jade and you was very reassuting. And last but not least by any measure, your makeup specialist, Cynthia Roman was outstanding. She gave a 'mini clinic' on makeup basics and what I would need to do to appear as natural as possible the weeks following the peel.

Of the handful of people who know I got a chemical peel, a few have asked me, "why didnt you wait till you were older?" My first answer is that I wasnt' sure how long you were going to continue practicing and Robert and I were emphatic that we would not be comfortable with anyone performing the procedure save yourself as we both were impressed with the procedure you performed on my lower eyelids in 2008. In fact, every time I got antsy and worried about the procedure as April 12 came closer, Robert would reassure me that you would take care of me and all would be well - he was right!

In closing, I just want to say thanks for being a doctor's doctor. I am very happy with the results. Also just as your previous patients shared their experience with me to put my mind at ease, I am willing to do the same. So please feel free to share my email and/or cell number with your patients if they would like to get a first hand account of the procedure.

Sincerely,
Liz L.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

In 1995 I came to your office to inquire about a face lift. I was sixty-six years old.

I had seen the transformation of a young woman I knew who lives here. You transformed her into a beauty...nose job and chin redo. Seems to me you did something else. Remarkable work...no scarring at all!

When I came to you, I asked about a face lift. You amazed me when you told me that I didn't need a face lift. You said that I needed a chemical peel to replace the old skin.

Accordingly a date was scheduled in July 1995 and the procedure was performed. I didn't tell anyone...simply came down to your office and you performed the procedure.

That night I stayed at the place you send your patients for care. I stayed there two nights and you permitted me to go home...100 miles away.

I hid out in my apartment for a few days. I don't remember when I returned to see you.

I do remember that my boyfriend of many many years was phoning and pressuring me to go out to dinner. In twelve days I agreed.

My skin was pink but all the stuff had peeled off. In fact, my skin was simply beautiful!

I hate lying. However, had to say I was going somewhere so I had told the boyfriend that I was going to the desert. This was likely because I do go there.

He absolutely had no idea at all that I had had this peel. He said, "So you got some sun out there, huh?"

Since he was the kind who absolutely had to know what was up, you can bet that he would have plied me with blunt questions had he guessed what I had been up to. How amused I was!

My friends also thought I had been sunburned. They told me how rested I looked!

My old thin sallow skin was gone! It still is.

I confess...I don't take care of my skin. Often it just gets a quick wash at night and maybe a few drops of olive oil (Organic from Costco.) I never buy expensive cosmetics. I don't use any foundations or moisturizers. I have some natural foundation with sunscreen that I apply sparingly if I am going out and very little else except lipstick. I seldom drink water...but the skin looks young...YOU are one miracle worker.

Back to that peel...

After a couple months I made a trip to the desert and some friends took me to lunch in a posh place in Palm Desert. The pink was gone. I did not know one of the women.

She kept staring at me. After a long time she burst out..."Don't tell me you have flawless wrinkle-free skin like this at your age and haven't had a face lift!" I laughed and said, "O.K., O.K. I didn't have a face lift...I had a face peel." Then the questions started!

All these years later people are still telling me how young I look...and asking me why I don't have any lines. I have had no more peels and no plastic surgery in the interim.

When I had that peel I had just retired and wanted to turn back the clock a little. Did I ever! People constantly tell me that I look so much younger than my age. I have a son and his age dates me and I don't mind telling people how old I am now.

Much younger very attractive and desirable men still ask me out. I could be having an active social life if I wanted it. I don't.

It is nice to still have men thinking that I have IT, though. That is thanks to you, Dr. Kotler.

More important than that is the issue of health.

When you look young...you feel young. When you feel young...your body responds to that mind-set...and you are far healthier.

If I hadn't fallen and wrecked my knee when I was in my 50's...and had to eventually have surgery...I would be in great shape for a gal my age. I am still doing very well!

Dr. Kotler you are absolutely the most caring and wonderful surgeon. I loved your staff. When I had my face peel and in subsequent visits (when I was thinking of having another procedure) I had a very good time! You have a great sense of humor.

Yesterday, when I phoned your office to find out some information from my ancient chart, the person who answered the phone said that she would speak to you about it. I thought, "I wish she wouldn't bother Dr. Kotler with that. Surely someone else in the office will look into it and not Dr. Kotler."

This morning when my phone rang and you were on the line I was totally astounded! The fact that you wanted to personally find out what information I needed...that you remembered me (and it was obvious from your comments that you do remember me) is so incredible that I am still amazed. I couldn't believe that you were calling from a hospital. Obviously you thought I might need some information immediately.

That wasn't a five minute phone call either...but was a real conversation. Time is money to you...and you gave me a lot your time.

I came to you apologetically...thinking that you were a big Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who probably wouldn't have much time for me. I wondered if you might not wonder why a woman my age would be so vain.

You ARE a great Beverly Hills plastic surgeon...with the heart and caring of a small town doctor. I came from a small town.

Thank you for being the wonderful doctor and person that you are.

After all these years that face peel still makes my life happier. Who wants to look wrinkled up?

God bless you, Dr. Kotler.

J.S.

My Dear Dr. Kotler,

Are we still going to be exchanging cards in our 90's? You did my face peel in February of 1995, so it's been almost 13 years. I get so many compliments on my skin. People can't believe I'm 76. Best wishes to you and your family.

F.C.

Dear Dr. Kotler:

First off, I must say that you are the best doctor in the entire world. For you to be able to make me look this great is a miracle. I was able to put on make-up today after my chemical peel and I can’t believe that I truly look this good and it isn’t even three weeks yet.

You have magic hands, a great “bedside” manner, an adorable face and the best sense of humor. You knew what to say to me and when to say it and that made me feel so comfortable. If I had to, I would do this again in a “New York minute”. Your work is impeccable. People tell me I look so young. Now if there were something you could do with my body, then I would really be a knockout!

Again, my thanks for a job well done. I can’t stop raving about how wonderful and talented you are. Thank you, thank you, and thank you from an extremely satisfied patient. I would also like to add that your office staff is fabulous. You are lucky to have them. They are so efficient and were there for me whenever I called and needed some reassurance. All in all, your entire staff is extremely accommodating.

I am glad you are my doctor, but even more then that, I am glad you are my friend.

With much love,

Carol B.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I have been meaning to write a letter of thanks for a few years already and I am sorry it is so late. But, it is with deep conviction that I must convey to you exactly how the chemical peel you performed for me has changed my life forever. Every time I look in the mirror, I am grateful to you. There is not one day that goes by that I do not think of you and your great talent.

There is nothing in my life that has had such a pervasive overall effect on my personality as this particular cosmetic surgery. I was never shy before, but this guaranteed I never would be inhibited by the changes that take place as we grow older.

Vanity is a funny thing, and different for everyone. Lucky for me, you are the perfect doctor in my life, to help with the very things that “bug” me the most and can be dealt with. I am so pleased with the results that there are not enough words in the thesaurus to choose. Aging for me is just going to be a battle all the way around and I am not going easily. I am excited and happy that there are so many possibilities for men and women to take advantage of when it comes to ones looks. There is no need to look “your age” and why should you have to.

Again I want to thank you enormously for your particular talent and continued friendship as my trusted doctor. There is no one else in this county who can do what you can do. I could shout that from the Santa Monica mountain tops all the way to New York City.

I only wish I could tell every single woman or man considering you as their surgeon, that there is no one finer or more competent and that they can not go wrong. You have enhanced my future significantly and I look forward to a long relationship over the years and future procedures as they become necessary.

Love always,

Melinda Y.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

You know sometimes the unexpected happens. As you know it’s been about six months since Joan’s chemical peel. Last week returning from our vacation we stopped for lunch in St. George, Utah. I took a quick walk around the block to relax and when I got back an older lady came up to me and she was quite concerned. “Your wife was waiting in line for the restaurant to open and four college boys were trying their best to pick up your wife.”

Three hours later when I was getting gas and returned to the car after paying inside there was this guy pulled alongside our car trying to pick up my wife!

My question to you Dr. Kotler, is it possible that you did too good a job on my 71 year old wife?

Best regards,

B. T. M.

Two years ago, I saw Dr. Kotler regarding a phenol peel. After much deliberation, I opted to have another doctor perform what appeared to be a less invasive procedure that promised to yield the same results, a laser peel.

The results of the laser peel were less than satisfactory for me. Although my cheeks and eye were improved, the lines around my mouth did not improve at all.

The following year I returned to Dr. Kotler and consented to the phenol peel he originally recommended.

The results are phenomenal. No more lines. The lines around my mouth are gone, this even though I've been a smoker for many years.

I am delighted. I love my new face!

-Carol, speech and educational therapist, California

It’s not quite a month since I had my chemical peel done, and already I am used to my remarkably younger face. People who know me either just stare at me or ask me straight out, ‘What have you had done? You look great!’…People are astonished that a peel can do so much. Actually I was too. Although I've been in the medical field for twenty years, I did not realize that a face peel, under circumstances such as mine, could have far more effective results than a facelift. You were right. I would have been unhappy had I opted for a face lift, which would have left me with a tighter face but old skin. Thanks for doing such a great job on my face, which now more closely resembles the young woman inside of me.

-Paula, marketing consultant, California

Dr. Kotler, I can't thank you enough! Just six short weeks after my facial rejuvenation procedure, I attended my 40th high school class reunion. One of my former classmates commented..."I can't believe your skin is still so smooth! How do you do it?" Many similar comments certainly made my evening. That's the beauty of this procedure, I'm still me - only a much better me!

Dr Kotler, you rock, i am still so thrilled with my results. All my best to you!

TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT PLASTIC SURGERY:

WHEN I MOVED TO THE CITY OF BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE IN MY THIRTIES I ALREADY KNEW THAT AT SOME POINT IN THE FUTURE I WOULD WANT THE SERVICES OF A BEAUTY GURU. SO I BEGAN TO LISTEN. I LISTENED TO PEOPLE WHO HAD HAD PLASTIC SURGERY. I LEARNED THE NAME OF THEIR DOCTORS. THE NAME THAT KEPT COMING UP AGAIN AND AGAIN WAS ROBERT KOTLER. SO I WROTE HIS NAME IN MY PHONE BOOK AND WHEN THE TIME FINALLY CAME I VISITED DR. KOTLER. HE GAVE ME A FACE LIFT AT 46. MY ONLY REQUEST WAS THAT I NOT LOOK LIKE A BARBIE DOLL. I NEED NOT HAVE WORRIED. I WAS THRILLED BUT NO ONE ELSE KNEW I HAD ANYTHING DONE - A GOOD THING AND JUST THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.

IN THE 20 YEARS SINCE THEN DR. KOTLER HAS GIVEN ME A FACE PEEL. MY SKIN LOOKS GREAT AND EVERYONE COMMENTS ON IT. BUT FRANKLY IT ISN'T A PROCEDURE I WANT TO REPEAT. (AND FORTUNATELY THERE IS NO NEED TO DO SO).

RECENTLY SOMEONE TOLD ME I LOOKED LIKE A CERTAIN MOVIE STAR WHOM I DON'T FIND VERY ATTRACTIVE. WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT HE SAID "WELL, I WAS THINKING OF HER WHEN SHE WAS IN BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID WHERE SHE PLAYED A HOOKER". SO I EITHER LOOKED LIKE AN OLD HAG OR AN UGLY PROSTITUTE. THAT'S WHEN I CALLED DR. KOTLER AND TOLD HIM I WANTED A FACE LIFT AND I DIDN'T CARE WHAT HE THOUGHT. (TWO YEARS BEFORE HE HAD TALKED ME OUT OF ONE - SAID I DID NOT NEED IT).

WHEN I WENT TO VISIT HIM - HELL BENT ON A FACE LIFT - HE SHOWED ME HOW IF HE DID WHAT I WANTED I WOULD LOOK LIKE CERTAIN T.V. STARS WHO LOOK TOTALLY PULLED TOGETHER (AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY). I HAD TO AGREE WITH HIM. BUT I STILL FELT OLD. SO WE TALKED ABOUT ALTERNATIVES AND FINALLY DECIDED TO DO A NECK LIFT AND JAW LIFT (PROBABLY NOT THE TECHNICAL TERM FOR IT, BUT YOU GET THE IDEA). WELL, NOW ABOUT A MONTH LATER I AM THRILLED. AGAIN, NO ONE REALLY CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE. BUT I SURE CAN! I FEEL YOUNGER AND I THINK I LOOK YOUNGER. BUT I STILL LOOK LIKE ME. I JUST COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE.

SO, WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT DR. KOTLER? HE'S MY OWN PERSONAL FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH; A TRUE MAGICIAN; A COSMETIC GENIUS. I GIVE HIM A 6 OUT OF 5 STAR RATING.

ALEX J.

Dear Dr. Kotler:

Just a note to thank you and your staff for the wonderful care and concern you showed me during my face and neck lift. The results are fabulous!

I'm not sure what I was expecting but I was surprised at how painless the whole process was. The anesthesiologist put my mind at ease and I was able to enjoy the whole experience....especially the aftercare center.

It can all be summed up by what a friend of mine said to me six weeks after the surgery... "You look like the old Dorothy". I replied, "the old new Dorothy". Thanks again. I'm sorry I didn't do it long ago.

Fondly,

Dorothy Royce

Dear Dr. Kotler:

The lift you gave to my neck and to my life will hold me forever grateful to you. Just four weeks after my surgery, I met the man of my dreams and we will be walking down the aisle very soon. Perhaps the way I felt about my “new” self did the trick, but I believe the artistry of your surgery had plenty to do with it.

Thank you again for all your special courtesies during my treatment. I won’t hesitate to recommend you to all of my friends.

With love,

Barbara G.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

I want to express my sincere appreciation and admiration for the cosmetic surgery that you performed for me.

The face lift and chemical peel procedures were performed in a professional and caring manner that guarantied success from the first consultation through completion of the entire task. You, and your office and surgical staff, performed in a caring, thoughtful and considerate manner throughout the entire procedures and following postoperative treatments.

Although there were times that I was a bit apprehensive about what was going to happen; your detailed, clear, and truthful explanations of the processes and follow-on effects were very comforting to me.

If I may say so myself, the results of your work are very impressive. And are so natural, that my friends give me many compliments on my looks – but they are not sure what the changes are.

Your skills exemplify the highest standards of your profession and I am thankful that I was able to have you as my doctor.

Sincerely,

Lisa L.

Dear Dr. Kotler:

I want you to know how happy I am with the results of my face and neck lift.

I supposed there is always some apprehension on the part of the patient before an operation but when the results are so successful and gratifying, it makes everything worthwhile.

I noticed an immediate improvement, but it became even more apparent in a few weeks when my brother, who is ten years younger than I am, started introducing me as his “kid brother”.

The ultimate compliment came when I was “carded” at the movie theater when I asked for a senior’s ticket. There were two young women in the box office and they both commented that “in no way do you look your age”.

Thanks again for your fine work and for making my life more enjoyable.

Sincerely,

Art L.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

It is strictly coincidental (but how unusual!) that I started writing this letter today and realized that it was exactly this date last year that you did my lower face and neck lift.

I am writing to say that I am very pleased with the result as I feel that I look much better without my “fat neck”! Your wonderful, positive energy, combined with your skill and experience, have produced yet another happy patient.

I will tell all of my “slightly aging friends” that when they get up the nerve and want to look better, you are the only doctor to see.

Thank you for being such a “Great Doc” and a good friend. I’m so happy to know you, so as not to have to go through the barrage of plastic surgeons out there, hoping to find a good one.

Please don’t retire before I do, as I will probably be back in a few years for a chemical peel and I wouldn’t let anyone else touch me!

Your friend and loyal patient forever,

Bobbi A.

Somehow, a simple ‘thank you’ seems inadequate to express my gratitude for your skill and artistry in creating my new look. You now only gave my face a list, but my spirits as well. Unlike some valuable possessions that must be kept in a vault for safe-keeping, and enjoyed only on rare occasions, my face is up front 24 hours a day.

True to your word, the procedure was painless and any pre-surgery jitters were alleviated in great part by your warm and hospitable staff. You've all been wonderful!

It’s been an interesting experience and once I can recommend unequivocally to other potential patients.

Don joins me in sending out warmest regards.

-Gloria

July 11, 2006

Dear Dr. Kotler,

Words cannot express my deep appreciation to you.

Let me go back to a year earlier in December 2005—prior to my consultation with you. I went to a very well known and respected cosmetic surgeon in the Beverly Hills area. I asked him about a procedure to correct my sagging jaw line. This physician told me correction would require a lower face lift—there were no other options. I did not feel ready to do such a major procedure. So I opted to do nothing though my neck continued to bother me.

Then I saw you on Dr. 90210 and decided to get a second opinion. The reasons were:

- Surgical success is related to volume—experience counts,
- Los Angelesis on the cutting edge of medical advancements and what better place than the Beverly Hills area for plastic surgery,
- You practice specializes in plastic surgery of the face and neck,
- You have experience, and, as you know,
- I assumed you were the brother of a favorite professor from Chicago (okay, you were not his brother—4 out of 5 isn't bad).

In October, 2005, I flew to LA for my consultation with you. I was not disappointed. The trip to LA was well worth it. Upon entering your office, the staff was professional and warm. You took the time for an extensive history. You asked a lot of questions and answered a lot of questions. And, you took the time to really listen as few physicians do today. There was genuine warmth. There was no arrogance or attitude or rushing out before all questions were answered. With your experience, you understand that medicine is an art and a science…and that one size does not fit all.

You told me that I did not require the lower face lift—you could correct my neck with just the neck lift. You demonstrated what you could achieve with your computerized photography so that expectations were clear. And, before I left you gave me your hard cover guide book to plastic surgery book to read. When I left you suggested that I call you if I had any questions. And, about a week later, I decided to proceed. During the two months awaiting surgery, any questions I addressed to you or your nurse Mary were responded to promptly and completely. Clearly, genuine concern, communication and availability are at the heart of your practice. And, this leads to complete trust.

In December, 2005, I returned for surgery. The results exceeded my expectations. You selected an anesthesiologist with your typical attention to detail. You even asked to review any anesthesia records in advance of surgery. Incredibly, I had no pain even the day of or day following surgery. In fact, the only discomfort I felt at all during the entire process from beginning to end was the first night when I had to lie flat on my back and my back was uncomfortable. Recovery went very smoothly. And, I knew what to expect in terms of healing. There were no surprises. Follow-up was like all phases—exceptional. And, the surgical results are as good as or even better than you predicted.

And, again at every step whether during consultation, surgery or post surgery, your mark as a physician and an exceptional person comes through. You encourage communication even after surgery. You show concern for the patient. And, you show concern and recognition for others on your professional team as well. When I expressed appreciation for the anesthesiologist’s results, you encouraged me to send Dr. Taheri a note of thanks, adding that anesthesiologist’s seldom get patient appreciation and quickly grabbed a pen to give me his address.

Thanks again,

Sheryl

Eyelid Surgery Testimonial

At age 48, I had premature wrinkles from spending too much time in the sun and smoking. I decided to have a procedure done and was doing my research to find the best doctor, since it was an elective procedure I had to ensure the results would be perfect without issues or complications. I was considering a facelift. When I saw Dr. Kotler, he recommended a chemical peel instead and explained the reasons and also recommended one of his books to read. By the time I was done with the reading, and seeing the before and after pictures, I decided that a full-face phenol peel was my best choice.

The procedure was painless, and I only took pain pills for the first 24 hours. My face was very red for about 2-3 weeks and then somewhat red for about 6 weeks. After 2 weeks I had a special make~up and after 3 weeks I went back to work. I could not be happier with the results. It was me, but looking years younger and no signs of a cosmetic surgery. Now, after 8 years, I have only a few wrinkles under the eye that starting showing up last year. But since, this is a procedure that gave me a new start and not freeze my face in time that is to be expected.

2 years ago I wanted a neck sculpture and it was a natural choice to go back to Dr. Kotler, and at that time I also underwent surgery to correct my deviated septum. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. For the first time in years I could breathe on both of my nostrils when I was sleeping and my neck looked 10 years younger. The staff was wonderful (special thanks to Mary) and always there when I called or had questions. Dr. Kotler is an amazing surgeon, due both to his knowledge and skills but also to the fact that he is honest about the procedures and expected results.

Thank you,
G

Dear Dr. Kotler,

My hunch that I was in the best possible hands was confirmed when you performed surgery on my eyes.

I cannot thank you enough for the care I received before, during, and after my procedure. My swelling was very limited and my pain was almost non-existent. I am really thrilled with the results. (Apparently, you recycled the bags under my eyes!)

Many thanks to you and the rest of your staff. I appreciate all the personal and kind attention you gave me. I will be back.

Love,

Rachel O.

Dear Dr. Kotler,

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I could fill this whole page with thank you and it wouldn’t come close to how grateful I feel and how thrilled I am with the results of my surgery. I know I’ve already told you all of this before, but I wanted to write it down so that anyone else, like myself who is thinking about the surgery can read this.

I had been walking around with puffy, tired eyes for years and I decided to go ahead with the procedure after one too many people told me how tired I looked, even when I had a good nights sleep. Also, I think a little of the incentive to do this was that I was attending my 20th class reunion and wanted to look my best.

I had been to speak with a couple of doctors but not only was I not comfortable with them or impressed with that they had to say but they seemed more interest in what other procedures they could perform. I wanted someone that specialized in facial surgery. I was in my dentist’s office and opened a magazine and there was your ad and e-mail address and what attracted me was your extensive background and experience and that you specialized in the face.

From the moment I walked into your office, I had a good feeling. Everyone was so genuinely nice and more importantly were very knowledgeable and made me feel really comfortable. I was really nervous because this was my face and there’s no hiding it. You were kind enough t make not only 1 consultation with me but 2 additional to answer all of my questions.

The whole experience went so smooth from beginning to end. All the employees at the surgical center were great. Before I even knew it, my surgery was done and because I was so nervous one of your staff members came over to the center to be there for me in recovery. How nice was that!

After my surgery, I felt a little groggy but not any pain. I even had unexpected guests at my home for a couple of days and was able to entertain. I was so nervous to look at myself but when I finally did, it wasn’t so bad. I had seen pictures of others, so I knew what to expect. I was swollen and bruised but I followed all the post operation directions and within 5 days, I was back to work.

So now here’s the best part. I attended my 20th class reunion and I have to tell you everyone came over to me and was telling me how good I looked. I was voted classmate who looked the best after 20 years. The fun part about it was that no one even knew I had anything done.

Dr. Kotler, I want to thank you again for your amazing work, your patience and the nicest office staff I have ever met. It’s the first time in my life, I purchased something and got exactly what I wanted and far more than I could have ever expected.

Sincerely,

Mishel C.

Dear Dr. Kotler and staff:

I wanted to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for your skill and professionalism during my blepharoplasty. Your website provided a great way to make inquires initially, but I always knew I could call at any time. Your “patient education” aids were superb—I always knew what to expect because most of my questions were answered in the informational packet. The computer imaging done at the consultation visit helped me see the possible outcome of the surgery beforehand. The care with which you treated me before, during and after the surgery was 100% top notch, right down to the convenience of having all the medications ready to take home with me after surgery. I felt you always had my care and safety as your first priority. My compliments to your staff too, for the gracious and professional way they treat your patients.

I am now delighted to say that I have had many people tell me that the surgery really made an improvement—it let my own bone structure show through that now “my eyes sparkle”. I was back to work after one week, just as you said. I’m told that it looks so natural that most people aren’t even aware I’ve had surgery.

If the recommendations of your patients ever helped someone make a decision about whether or not to have this procedure done, I would only say this: for years I told myself “No one is ever going to cut on my eyes! I’ll just have to accept them the way they are”. But as I started to investigate the possibilities of this, I realized that this small procedure can make a huge improvement on my looks and how I feel about how I look to others. If I had inherited crooked teeth instead of baggy eyes, no one would have thought anything of my having them straightened. Now I’m wondering why I waited so many years to get this done!!!

Thank you again for my new eyes!!!

Sincerely,

Janet C.

This letter is to express my satisfaction with my recent eye surgery and report back to you the results in terms of the change in my life after making a decision to have this procedure. The procedure itself went very smoothly and I could see clearly enough to get around in only a few days. Within three to four weeks, I looked like a more awake and vigorous version of my old self. The change is exactly what I want in that I still look like my old self, only better, more alert and younger. The general opinion of my friends was that I look different but they could not quite decide what was different, except that I look more awake and younger. I redoubled my career search, with extra confidence and I'm happy to report that I now have the highest and best paying computer sales position in my industry…Appearance in how you both feel and present yourself is a part of life and taking action to improve yourself simply makes good sense.

Chin Testimonial

Deciding to have Dr. Kotler perform my chin augmentation was the best decision I could have made after I chose to go through with the procedure. I was apprehensive about undergoing plastic surgery, but his experience and knowledge made me feel at ease. Additionally, his staff is extremely professional and friendly. My surgery went smoothly, recovery time was minimal, and I was even back to exercising and traveling within a couple of weeks! I am so happy with the results and the patient care I experienced at Dr. Kotler's office.
