Information For Out Of Town Patients
Our patients come from near and far. In this practice’s 30 years of service, we have been privileged to care for patients from most of the 50 U.S. states and from Canada, Mexico, Jordan, Syria, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Iran, England, France, Italy, Ireland, Germany, France, Russia, Armenia, South Africa, the Caribbean, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. Nowadays, more and more patients are willing to travel to have surgery with the best surgeons.
Beverly Hills, an international city, is long-accustomed to hosting visitors from all over the world and is geared to accommodating them. Such visitors include those coming here for cosmetic enhancements, a significant part of the local economy.
For patients coming from afar, we can often eliminate the need to make more than one trip here for your surgery. This would include a phone consultation with Dr. Kotler and his review of your photos via e-mail or traditional mail. Once you and Dr. Kotler have determined which procedures are most appropriate, we will image your photos to show you the predicted results. Dr. Kotler and you will be in contact as much as needed prior to your surgery to answer all of your questions and allay any concerns you might have. We will ask you to arrive the day before your surgery so that you and Dr. Kotler can meet face to face and discuss any last minute questions or concerns.
Please keep in mind that all pre-operative clearance must be obtained ahead of time. We will send you the requested pre-operative forms for you to take to your doctor and ask that you make arrangements to have the completed forms faxed back to us at least 2 weeks prior to your surgery. If you are not currently under the care of a physician, we will do our best to provide you with a few names close to where you live.
The length of time you will need to stay locally is determined by which procedures you are having. We are accustomed to accommodating out-of-town patients and are pleased to provide as little or as much help as desired, including recommendations for local hotels, restaurants, leisure activities, etc. We only need to understand your requirements and we can “take it from there.” Please inform us of any specific needs.
